Yep! There is some gemmy sodalite coming out of either Pakistan or Afhganistn. Keep in mind the "gemmy" is a relative term here. It is translucent as opposed to transparent.

I''ve seen some faceted pearls and they are very interesting because the light play has been altered.

Have you seen his (her?) pearls in person? Are they sold as studs or is this something you wouldn''t really "wear." I sort of love them.
