When Gary first posted this stone, I knew it would sell fast, and it did - just not to me! So when Loriken unfortunately had to return the stone, I was thrilled to be next in line. I took some quick photos which I''ll post now, but I''m hoping to get some better ones over the next few days. I''d also love to have some input with setting ideas.

Here''s Gary''s vendor photo

And here''s mine, with more to follow:

Sometimes it looks a little darker

But in the sun, it''s pretty amazing!

It's beautiful in the sun!

I love how the zircon just lights up and throws pink and orange around; it's definitely an outdoor/daylight stone.

It''s amazing what corduroy looks like up close!

Oooh my word! That is beautiful! I love these asschers!

Last one in the sun - just love this color, not to mention the terrific faceting. This is my favorite type of asscher, with small cut corners. It''s also not as deep as regular asschers, and Gary said the high RI of zircon makes that possible. So even though it''s 9.1mm, it should be fairly easy to set.

Great pictures! What is the full measurement LxWxD of the zircon?

Thanks Chrono and Maisie! Chrono, the dimensions are 9.1 x 9.1 x5.9mm. I''ll try to get some profile shots later for you.

Cellentani! That is Amazing!!!! how you been? how will you set it? I''m on a hunt for zircon, but not sure what yet.... and this amazing zircon has got me thinking asscher

I was a little concerned about how the stone would look against my skin, and as you can see, when the light is low, it sort of blends right in. Funny thing is, my eye is so drawn into the faceting that the similarity in color doesn''t bother me as much as I thought it would.

Beautiful!! I love peach stones.

I found this setting at the last Intergem show, and originally bought it for my spessartite garnet, but am now thinking about setting the zircon in there - what do you guys think?

I think the zircon was meant to be housed in this GORGEOUS setting!

Wow. That last photo of the stone in the setting took my breath away.

Hi D&T - I noticed you finally got your beautiful dream setting! This is my first zircon AND my first asscher, and I have to say, I''m loving both.

Peachy keen!

(Yeah, I groaned at my cheesiness but had to say it anyway.) It''s beautiful, I''m envious!

And perfect setting! I think the white gold is better suited to the peach than the spess . . . the spess seems to crave yellow gold.

For reference, here''s the spess in the same setting, but it''s not really fair to compare the two stones, because the spess is much more vivid. You''ll notice that both of these stones are square, while the setting is rectangular - but I think I''m okay with that.

Hi fiery! I''d wondered about putting the spess in YG - I''m going to have to find some other settings, I guess. Any updates on setting your Cmas stones?

Wow, I am in love. That setting looks like it was made with your ziron in mind

I love the color on your amazing stone and it looks perfect for that setting.

It''s gorgeous. Especially in the sunlight.

You have such a good eye! That stone looks wonderful against your skin and actually I much prefer it to the Spess in that setting. The Spess doesn''t look such a good fit (that''s probably more to do with the faceting though I think). Go for it!

Gorgeous, I love the zircon in this setting.
