I found an asscher on Whiteflash that is 2.0 carat, color H, SI1, Depth 67.4, Table 60 with a rating of very good, very good. The cert is from EGL. I have heard many different views on the subject of EGL certs. The price is $10,831. Is this diamond too good to be true? I want to order it to have a look (and return it if it looks bad), but I would like to save myself the money to ship, etc. if anything is glaringly wrong with it. You guys are all so knowledgable about these things!

Well, if I were going to buy an asscher with an EGL cert, I''d probably buy one that''s higher color than an H. Your H could easily be a GIA I or J, and a J colored asscher is going to show some color. That''s probably why the price is cheaper than usual because it does show some color.
