2.32ct Diamond Reset from soiltaire to forever setting

One of my very first posts was a picture of my 2.32ct G SI1 princess solitaire ring that my husband gifted to me. It was just a temporary setting, though, because I''m not a solitaire fan...like at all. But since I am VERY picky with jewelry he didn''t know what to put it in, thus the solitaire. So, long story short, we both designed this together:

It''s a platinum and 18k yellow gold setting modeled after a Simon G ring that I found while searching online for settings. The pave are Si G color and the triangles are .25ct each VVS G color. (I don''t know why hubby chose VVS for the triangles and Si for everything else)

(We changed the baskets and scroll work to yellow gold, but kept the shank and the heart in platinum. I wanted something that I could wear both my yellow and white jewelry with.)
