Posting this here for visibility rather than in Shopping where it belongs.
This is an entirely first world problem but I am pissed and need to vent. I’m also wondering what others’ experiences have been recently—let’s say the past 5 years or so.
I ordered a Maygel Coronel swimsuit from Bergdorf’s last week. It was sold as a 2 piece set. I received the top but not the bottom. Ok, fine, I contacted customer service, they’re sold out of my size, they issued me a return label. Whatever, moving on. Ordered the same suit in a different color from Neiman’s that same day. Received the package today, and inside was a totally different one piece style that would have fit my 11 year old daughter. AND it was discolored.
I ended up finding the original suit I wanted on the Maygel Coronel website but it ships from Columbia. Was trying to get it in time for vacation at the end of the month but I doubt it will come in time. Which is ok, I’ll wear it to the club pool this summer. But still…I’m disappointed in two major upscale retailers not having their shit together.
