I am looking for a future anniversary gift, and thinking a ruby ring under 3500.00 max. So far I have found this one...

I do think it is quite nice, but it's literally the only ring in my price range I have found so far. I have looked here and the "natural ruby" company which I thought was so so. Thanks for any advice!

It's very pretty. You can also ask David (Diamonds by Lauren) to see if he can bring in others in your price range.

Here are some others--just make sure any treatments are disclosed and are reflected in the price:

Lang has some nice ones:
Star ruby: https://www.langantiques.com/estate-burma-star-ruby-and-diamond-halo-ring.html
Edwardian Cluster: https://www.langantiques.com/edwardian-style-ruby-and-diamond-cluster-ring.html
Victorian navette: https://www.langantiques.com/victorian-ruby-and-diamond-navette-ring.html

Eragem: https://eragem.com/wmt11043.html

Inken specializes in rubies and sapphires: https://www.instagram.com/enhoerningjewelry/?hl=en

Alex Park (parksfinegroup): https://alexparkjewelry.com/search?type=product&q=ruby and at https://www.instagram.com/parksfinegroupinc/?hl=en

Wilson's estate jewelry (cheaper if you buy on their website vs. ebay): https://www.ebay.com/itm/1264059640...4EFDV2&hash=item1d6e61f0ed:g:PeEAAOSwy9VmCvU1

I don't know too much about gemstones. What do you think of the ruby in the Diamonds by Lauren ring? @mayaINaU ?

Sorry, I’m not an expert either. The DBL ring is pretty, but it’s not my ideal type of ruby. I like one that is more transparent and more pink than red. That’s just a personal opinion though, and might not align with your taste or the trade ideal. It really depends on what your wife would like and what you can get within your budget. Check out some of the threads where people with more gemstone expertise have given advice on ruby purchases: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/opinions-on-this-ruby.282348/
There is lots of nuance in this and a lot to learn!

Also look at Gilded Lane. She sells on Etsy and Instagram. https://www.etsy.com/listing/494281546/

Does it have to be unheated? I just returned one from ebay, because I ended up getting another two. This is all natural, heated, no residue. I had it tested at my jeweler and went to gia too.

I'll keep my eyes open for you all. I'm the queen of small budgets lol. I got this small one last month, natural old ruby and Diamonds for $300. 18k, French

I don't need un-heated. I am a little hesitant buying places like eBay though. I guess I would need to do some research into the seller...

I understand. When you buy from an established seller, you pay for the expertise.
