I am looking for a future anniversary gift, and thinking a ruby ring under 3500.00 max. So far I have found this one...

It's very pretty. You can also ask David (Diamonds by Lauren) to see if he can bring in others in your price range.

Sorry, I’m not an expert either. The DBL ring is pretty, but it’s not my ideal type of ruby. I like one that is more transparent and more pink than red. That’s just a personal opinion though, and might not align with your taste or the trade ideal. It really depends on what your wife would like and what you can get within your budget.
