Re: Calling iLander!

You are so sweet to check iLander! It's going great! Not that DD eats every meal, but there is no emotion tied to it anymore. She takes what she wants on her plate and if she doesn't like it, she gets a piece of cheese or a spoon of peanut butter. Tonight, the kids cooked the meal (cut the veggies, ...

Re: Do you eat fast food? How often and what?

We will do Moe's or Subway about 2x a month. My kids refuse McDonald's, Wendy's etc. (try explaining that to other parents when they have your kid for a play date and want to know what they will eat!).... We will go out for pizza about once every other month (good pizza, not Domino's or the like)......

Re: KIDS What Would You Have Done Differently?

Too Patient, We do the same kind of thing with money, though both of my kids are too young to be anywhere on their own without an adult, so paying for their own ice cream hasn't come up. However, we do give them an "allowance" so that they can learn to save money...we tell them that the ch...

Re: Please help me sort out my eternity band issues!

I think that the band you got has too much metal and the stones are too small to stand up to your gorgeous ring. I agree that something with mixed shapes and a bit chunkier would be perfect!

Wow! What a fun place to play! I love the yellow gold pieces, as well as that ornate sapphire ring...really stunning!! Gah! I wanted to thank you so much for your suggestions about dinner time. Re: KIDS What Would You Have Done Differently?

Sage advice! I'm going to try it tonight and will let you know how it goes... Fingers crossed! Oh, I forgot to mention, I stopped putting food on his plate. Re: KIDS What Would You Have Done Differently?

Lara, veggies aren't our problem, protein is. The only proteins she likes are hot dogs, cheeseburgers, meatloaf (but NOT meatballs or meat in lasagna or any other form), cheese and eggs (but only scrambled with cheese...no frittata's with veggies, etc.). yennyfire...I can't say this is the right answer but if you do give up and start serving her different food that she will eat...let HER make her own dinner. Like fix a peanut butter/jelly sandwich, turkey/cheese sandwich, roll up sandwich, scrambled eggs etc. I wouldn't do thework for her. Stoffers...

Re: Now I really did it :((

Missy I understand about not being able to sleep well on your back. I'm a side sleeper too and it was a real problem for me. For the first month, I had to sleep with the big air boot on all night. It wasn't a cast, but it was awkward and heavy, and had all those straps and metal things on it. What ...

Re: Child's Birthday Party RSVP

I have thrown at least 10 RSVP type parties for my children and believe it or not, twice I've had people NOT RSVP but then show up for the party!
