I agree - maybe buying you a high end brand was an important factor for him when choosing the ring. I know my husband decided to buy me a bigger diamond than I asked for because he said that HE wanted the bigger diamond. If your FI can afford it, let him be proud of what he bought. My husband likes ...

I am really disappointed with my wedding pics. There are a few good ones in there but I expected more than a few considering the number of picutres we received and the money we paid. He was not cheap! First of all, I feel like most of the pictures are just repeats. My smile may be a little bigger or...

Do you by any chance live near a city that has a garment district? I bought my BM dresses in Los Angels at the garment district for $50. They did not look like 50 dollar dresses at all. Much better than anything I saw at the bridal shops.

No one will care what everyone else looks like - you are the bride!

My sister and I are both 5''2" - I am a 0/2 she is a 12/14. Personally, I think she fills out dresses much better than me.

I think it depends on your other jewelry. What else were you thinking of wearing with it? And how are you thinking of doing your hair?
Hair will be up in a very simple bun, no curls or major styling of any sort.

My parents gave me a beautiful 3 strand beaded necklace made of real turquoise . I was thinking of wearing it as my something blue. it was an idea I got from Eva Mendes'' 09 Oscar outfit. Thanks everyone I think you are right - I''m just picking on my poor dress. I loved this dress from the first time I saw it in a magazine.

I think you are right in saying that the jewelry will make it me. I think I will go the broach route. Perhaps on the bow that thing2of2 mentioned.

I am a month away from my wedding and I hate my dress. I just think it''s generic and not really me. It''s the Amsale Serena. It''s too late to do anything about it and not that I could anyway considering how much the dress cost. Has anyone or is anyone feeling this way? http://www.pricesc...

I went to a wedding where one of the kids pulled the fire alarm. We had to evacuate and could not go back in until the fire dept. came and gave the okay. Needless to say I do not want kids at my wedding and included "an adult only reception to follow" on my invitations.

Cutting the little things out of the wedding has really helped keep within budget. Things like expensive cake toppers, too many ceremony flowers, wedding favors etc. I bought my wedding dress at a trunk show at was comped an Amsale veil which save me at leat $300.
