Re: would you reconsider an engagement

I would hope that all financial issues would have been openly discussed prior to the proposal, I would probably break it off. Not because of the financial trouble, but more rather due to failure to disclose the "severe" financial issue before the marriage talk. Especially if the financial ...

I'd say 2-5 years. I got my studs last Mother's day (2013), the next purchase will probably be 2015 (my 15th anniversary), however I have no needs/wants, perhaps a reset?

Re: Would you tell someone they have a personal hygiene issu

Unfortunately, I believe it was the menstruation scent I encountered yesterday, which prompted me to post..... I have always had a hypersensitive nose, and it was on super-duper overdrive when I was pregnant, I used to be mortified by my own armpit odor, which my husband claims was non-existent to t...

Re: What's your IQ?

I also took IQ tests in elementary and middle school and scored high enough to be in a "gifted" program, but my grades were not exeptional in college, grad school nor do I feel any smarter today....Just average Jane with decent career because I worked for it.

Re: Facet Pattern Poll: What would you sacrifice?

This is a hard one, and it depends on your starting criteria right? If you're asking me to go from a 5 ct to a 4.5 ct, I'd be happy to. and a VVS1 to a VS1, sure, why not? From a F to an H....fine by me. So this is a poll that I cannot answer.

Re: Would you tell the truth if someone show you a fake..

One coworker recently got engaged with a deep pink (almost fushia) gemstone e-ring, about 2 ct (diamond weight equivalent). I'm not an expert in colored gemstones, but I DO know that pink diamonds are EXTREMELY expensive, and with that amount of color saturation, it would cost millions. So, when she...

Re: Would you tell someone they have a personal hygiene issu

Point taken Monarch, JewelFreak & Saoirse2. As I mentioned 2 of them were from previous jobs, so they don't bother me. Of the other 2, one is a good friend, and I will find a way to tell her in the nicest way possible....the other, I'm not close to, and I'll just continue to hold my breath haha.

Would you tell someone they have a personal hygiene issue?

I have had several co-workers past and present that have had personal hygiene issues that I avoided telling them, but as I'm getting older I feel more amd more compelled to say something.....here are some examples of the things I'm talking about: 1) Good-looking guy with earwax coming out of both ea...

Re: Yesterday daughter #2 totaled her car...

Glad to hear that she is okay. DF, I did a lot of dumb things growing up, and my dad bailed me out a lot, similar car situations as a matter of fact. My parents had the means to help me ad they did. I can never thank them enough, but once married and launched in my career, I am proud to say that I h...

Re: How do you get over a cold?

I get over colds in a very unconventional way. I put on a sweatsuit and go for a nice run 1-3 miles....breathing lots of fresh air helps me clear my lungs, and running increases my blood flow, and seems to help me sweat out my cold germs. Then I go home take a nice shower, and drink WARM orange juic...

Re: Be honest..do you exceed the speed limit...

Speed limit in on the toll road I take to work is 65, I'm usually about 10-15 mph over speed limit because there's very little traffic on the toll road. I know where the speed traps are though, and have evaded a ticket so far (knock on wood). I also noticed that there's a pattern to when the cops ar...

Re: Does your jewelry style match your clothing and home dec

I'm very very traditional, or classic, and like to look "well put together". My solitaire settings for ring, pendant, and studs reflect my no frills attitude. They are mirrored in they way I dress (Ann Taylor/Loft) and my home decor (Pottery Barn)

Re: Would you like it if your man shaved his armpits?

I'm the only one who replied yes so far? My husband is pretty non-hairy as most Asians are, and I don't think I'd miss the arm pit hair if he shaved it off, in fact it'd match his hairless arms and chest better :)
