Hey,
Thanks to everyone here at Pricescope got a great engagement ring so back for some advice on a wedding band.
I'll post some pics of the e-ring so you can get an idea of what it looks like. It's a platinum tiffany setting with a 1 Carat H&A Round, both from Whiteflash. The band is listed as 2.7mm wide.
I'm going to get a Platinum Comfort Fit band, but for her we're looking at shared prong rounds in platinum. Tried on some rings in B&M stores and prefer the thinner ones closer to the width of the e-ring.
We've narrowed it down to these three...wanted to see what you guys thought of these.
#1 - Whiteflash ($950) - 0.25 carat TW with 5 A Cut Above Diamonds (3mm wide)

#2 - Whiteflash ($1050) - 0.35 carat TW with 7 A Cut Above Diamonds (3 mm wide)

#2 - Facets Collection ($926) - 0.47 carat TW with 9 Brilliant Diamonds (2.5mm wide)

All look to be the same grade platinum. The only difference I see if the slight difference in width between the Whiteflash band and the FC band...and also that the Whiteflash diamonds are probably a slightly better cut than the Facets Collection diamonds. Both are F/G, while Whiteflash is VS compared to VVS from Facets collection.
Do you think the better cut and clarity of the Whiteflash diamonds would have a significant difference with these size diamonds?
Right now, I think I would lean towards the 7 stone band from WF...mainly because of the ACA diamonds and my confidence in them from the e-ring.
This band isn't too wide for the e-ring, is it? You think there is much difference in width from a 2.5mm to 3.0mm for our 2.7mm e-ring band?
Anyone here have any advice on these?!?!
