Can you ALWAYS resize a white gold ring with no stones in the band?

I''m looking at a engraved antique solitaire gemstone ring on EBay. The band has no additional stones and is currently a size 4. I am a size 5. Should it be a problem to size it up one size?

Does the engraving go all around the ring??? One size shouldn''t be a problem I wouldn''t think.
