Okay, my boyfriend and I are going to start looking at e-rings. But in the Rocky Talky forum all I read about is loose stones. Is it better to buy a loose diamond? Or an already set diamond? I always thought that when that time came for me, I would just go and but the whole thing already together. Thank you

Hi..

I am no professional...but with buying the stone loose, you see exactly what you are getting. When the stone is appraised, the appraisal is more thorough when done loose. Settings can hide things on a stone or at least make it more difficult to see.

There has to be a better explanation by the professionals but buying loose is preferred by many.
