Thank you all for your kind words! I am very happy with my gorgeous new ring (and gorgeous fiancé!).

Mochiko - haven't set a date yet but hoping for late Feb, March next year. Going to visit a potential venue tomorrow.

Acinom - yes I will wear a wedding band with it. I'm tossing up between a simple band and a 7-9 stone ring - I love both looks. Perhaps a simple band for now and a multi stone for an anniversary present.

I haven't been posting photos because every one I take turns out horrendous. I have no idea how Niel managed to capture the yellow in her photos. Here are my terrible attempts.

You have such elegant hands! The ring looks so fabulous on you. I love looking at your pics. I am convinced a plain or pave band would looks stunning. You would have to try various 7 or 9 stones to make sure it will not overwhelm your engagement ring.

My wedding bands have arrived from DK! The plain band is solid 18k white gold, the diamond band has .78cts of natural G color, VS clarity round brilliant diamonds and is solid 18k white gold, size 5. Both bands were engraved with our initials and wedding date.

I'm so happy with how they turned out!
