It's a very unique design, glad you have metal covering each point or tip of the diamond because the corners on princess cuts are prone to chipping.

Thank you everyone. I will be proposing on Xmas. And I did some research on here and it seemed like a good princess. I saw a lot of videos from gog that show contrast good cut vs poor cut Nd I thought the diamond faced up pretty white as opposed to some of the standard ones he uses in his videos

I tried to get pics yesterday. It was sunny but I noticed one of the pics came out very pastel

Gorgeous and unique. Please post your pastel photo. I love it when the diamond throws pastel colors. I didn't realise princess cut stones can do that too.

Diamond bug I tried to get a better one. But the 2nd to last pic kinda shows it only on a tilt. I'm just hoping I picked a good diamond for her

I think it's a beautiful ring! Diamond looks lovely and I really like the setting, it's a bit different and I like the graceful curves.

Introducing some curve into the ring design really adds an interesting twist, and I think it enhances your lovely princess cut stone.

Did she offer you any guidance in your selection or did you choose the shape, setting, etc.?

Hi OP- I see you posted in this section of the Forum as well... you may want to stick to one, so we can follow/assist you properly. I had mentioned in your other post that your stone is lovely, but one thing to consider is the setting, it's very unique and it may make it difficult to find a band that will sit well with the curves of the setting...did she have any input, or show you pictures? I ask only because, while nice, it could be limiting... a girlfriend of mine faced a similar dilemma when her husband chose a design similar to this, but hers was more of a tension setting...she was very frustrated in her search to find an appropriate band, and ended up foregoing one, because she couldn't find anything that seemed to work, which still frustrates her till this day (it's been 10 years-lol!). I think if you are certain this is the design she likes, than you should be all set, it's a nice diamond! Just something to consider! Good luck!

Truluv thank you kindly for ur reply I'm new and not sure how or where to post. Yes she did like the setting. Now we did find tat is a slight. V shape w blue n white diamonds that fit and I talked to jeweler about custom making one or we might look at diff settings. I apologize for all the posts I just didn't know where to post to get the quickest responses cuz I'm proposing very soon and my main concern was the stone and the aset cuz I can't tell if it would be a good very good or excellent aset. And I wait t her to have the best light return possible but I think u have a valid point and I'm going out later today to talk to jeweler lok
look at bands and If none fit by the time I propose well be in return period she could pick a new setting.
