Hello everyone... I have thoroughly combed this site and recommended sites from the thousands of amazingly hyper-informative thread..
It is from these forums.. I am a soon-to-be lucky owner of a precision cut old european from my lovely stb-fiance. He has amazing patience and tolerance for the whirlwind of diamond selections.

So here she is... We call her "Nova" .. not only is she super.. but she was sourced from Northern VA estate from the daughter of original owner - her parents - married 65 years, and passed away a few decades ago.

But truly have fallen in love with these gem cuts! So much so -- that the setting will have 14 OEC's H's VVS-VS-Si1 in graduated sizing.
and the w-band to have 7 OECs (H/VS) in 3.6mm-3.7mm (est .20ct-.23cts per stone)

And I am thrilled there is so much real info and people who want to help.. Since the average jewelry store has no jeweler and no gemologist backgrounds, I ran into a number of sketchy as well as dim individuals.
