That is awesome! I don't agree with her views, but it's pretty sweet to see such a young woman getting elected in.

Side note, I didn't know you could run if you were 17. It says she beat out the other republican at 17!

I have to agree that it is wonderful to see a young woman who seems so hardworking and ambitious be rewarded for her efforts. I, also, do not agree with her political positions, but c'est la vie! Thank you for posting some cheerful news, Karl!

I vaguely remember Reagan taking office ... watched coverage of him on a state of the art console-style television in my grandparents living room while perusing Sears Roebuck catalogs by the fire.

Crap I feel old now.

I think it is awesome what this young lady has done! And whether you agree with her politics or not - I think we can all agree she is a great role model for standing up for her beliefs in a way that will allow her to make a difference.
