Gemstones Lovers - Help needed :)

I have a few gemstones, ruby and emerald. I like the shine on them and love wearing them all the time, but want some other metal to crave them in. Does anyone know any other precious metal other than Gold and Silver. It will be really helpful

Platinum? Palladium? Or are you looking for exotic colours, like rose gold or 'green gold'?

Mokume gane is certainly exotic, and would allow you to get a little more variety, but people set stones into non-precious metals too, like titanium or copper......

Stainless steel too, but not sure if it's easy for jewelers to work with.

I can't imagine it's something that a lot of jewellers would be able to do on commission though.

Your ruby and emerald will prefer a softer and malleable metal.

I can't wear wood, plus I don't feel wood will do justice to the gems...

And I am not aware of osmium...

I've also seen stones set in rock crystal, but they might have had a gold bezel.
