Watch this short video about a wonderful campaign in France to reduce food waste. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2nSECWq_PE
Actually one thing I love about the uber-low-cost supermarket I buy my produce at, Superior Grocers in Southern California, is how the fruits and veges look normal, not like Photoshopped and silicone-injected movie stars.
At those overpriced supermarkets like Ralphs or Vons every apple is the size of a baby's head and every one is identical and perfect.
Creepy Frankenfood.
Nature is not perfect.
While this may work in Europe I think most Americans are too prudish to embrace it.
