i have accidentally gotten the pics attached to the wrong trillion it has sense been fixed but if you need to revote go ahead

If you were someone who wanted a chartreuse or red trillion, which if these would you choose

In other words, which would be most fit the original criteria, or which would be considered most attractive....

I know thats a hard answer as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but please play along.

6.5 mm, i was told its got nice sparkle and doesnt go to dark different lighting.

7 mm heres the video

7.5 mm heres the video

7.5mm, heres a video.

my concern is that the chrysoberyl looks too yellow and not chartreuse, and the red looks pink....

It would probably be set in a diamond band with white gold but a yellow gold basket.

Its my BILs SO but yes we had a long conversation the other day and those were her choice colors. She doesn't like pink, purple, and blue isn't really high on her list though she can appreciate it.

There's a pear from him two that might get a write in vote as well as I think the shape and color looks nice.

But yes, to answer your question.

I think the third trillion chrysoberyl is the brightest in color.

Make sure she like trilliants as well, since it's not the most popular shape.

Yes she specifically said she preferred it. I wouldn't have come to this conclusion on my own

I was all ready to get her a plain half ct solitaire before the conversation I had with her.

I voted for the last stone, but I prefer the pear red spinel in your other post. It would look great in a halo, or a simple 3 stone ring with tapered baguettes.

Thanks I like that too. And I tend to think it'll look better than a cool red on her ginger skin coloring. But i felt like it got a lot of less than stellar reviews, and I'm a liiiiitle concerned about the feather. But thank you for the feedback, I liked that stone too. Maybe I will keep it in the running.

I emailed him about that last trillion and this. I feel like it looks very promising. (Though my record with this sort of stuff is not good)

Well, that's a fat pear, so it might not fit a standard size pear setting.

Didn't you say in the other thread LOGR could customize a head for me? If so I'm not concerned. These chrysoberyls are at a price where I can spend money (in relative teems) on the setting.

Last trilliant; good cutting and bright. The first is so-so and the second concave might not appeal to her IRL. The spinel looks too purple and she said she doesn't like cool or purple tones.

Yes, but to do any customization, he charges at least a $50 flat fee on top of everything else (it may have increased). I know you're on a budget, so just an FYI.

Good point thank you. I've sent an email out to him so we will see what that runs.... ideally though this could be accomplished for 500. Fingers crossed. Also JM hoping for some more hand shots but I don't know if that's dine or not so well see.

+1, I also thought that red pear was pretty and would look great with sidestones, although I thought she preferred sharp angles and a less traditional look? If you go with a red stone I'd pick that pear over the 1st stone on here. But the chysoberyls look very nice if you go the yellow-green route. Either way, I think you will end up with a stunning ring despite the low budget, your BIL is very lucky!

PS Jeff hasn't been able to provide hand shots for me in the past, but maybe he's changed his setup and is able to do so now.

No he wasn't able to. ;(

So I'm waiting to hear back from LOGR. whatever the setting cones to will probably determine if its the original Tan red pear or the chubby green one. I asked him he said that's the most green stone of the bunch, the others more yellow.
