So, I'm smack in the middle of North Central Florida, aka Forks Washington these days. No really. It's rained every single day for the past two weeks. I'm starting to feel like this:


So I need to see some pretty pictures. Anything. Flowers. Beautiful Places. Animals. Anything. ANYTHING BUT RAIN!

I travel as much as I can, which is farrrrrr less than I want to!

Those photos are from Western Ireland, the Bernese-Oberland area of Switzerland (Murren), Aitutaki in the Cook Islands (great alternative to Tahiti for animal lovers), and Milos, Greece.

Of course! I love talking about travel! I know that if Haven were around she could chime in, too - she loves that corner of the world and we both spent a bit of time in the same areas. Her son is even named after a town in the Interlaken area.

However, I'm just writing from my phone ATM - I randomly woke up (it's 1:45 am, lol). So I'll do a proper post for you when I get home from work tomorrow.

She is extraordinarily personable.

If a parrot is tame it usually prefers it's own human flock, often bonding to one human in the house.
But this Senegal Parrot actually likes new people better than us.
I take her out and she meets new people every day.
Hundreds of people have handled her and marvel at her affection and gentleness, many saying they've never touched a bird before.

That is so cool Kenny! I was lucky to work with a cockatoo in highschool who just LOVED me. He would coo even if he heard me in his mom's telephone. Unfortunately I can't keep any of my own as I'm allergic to bird dust.

Here are a couple of mine. Both taken here in North Central Fla. The duck is the first and only I've seen of his kind in our area. Not sure if he was lost or what!
