Camp Award

A few weeks back DF started a thread "if you just met me would you hug me?"

Well at the PS GTG I'm the hugger... I hug everyone. I thought I would share...My daughter who just came home from three weeks at sleep-a-way camp in North Carolina won this award. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Prepare to be hugged!!!!

aww that is so adorable!! I'm a big hugger too, but not usually for strangers haha. I also love sleepaway camps as I was a counselor at one for 3 years (and attended it prior to becoming a counselor for 3 summers) and it's a great feeling to make kids feel special like that!!

Yes.. thank you for asking... our date is 8/30. We are going for the second opinion next week.. (which we expect to be consistent with the first and why surgery is already scheduled)... 7 days in the hospital and then rehab.. I'm dragging her to the gym on a daily basis to get her ready so she will have a fast comeback!

She's already shown her mental toughness, and now she'll be physically ready for it, too. Much luck and positive energy headed to both of you in the upcoming weeks!
