I'm from the beautiful Pacific Northwest of the USA. Home to mountains, rivers, trees, oceans, flowers, produce, pollen and RAIN!! Born in Washington state and moved to Oregon in 1990.

This is where I live...
(But I think I really need a few more rainy pictures to make it accurate...)

These dahlias are actually about a mile from my house and I run by them on my jogging route. It is the largest dahlia farm in the nation.





This is the Columbia River Gorge... It is about an hour from my house.


Sometimes (like the last 2 months) it is so beautiful here I don't know why anyone would ever want to leave. But most of the time (about 9 months out of the year) it is SO gray and rainy I can't stand it!! Today was awesome!! But check back with me in January...

I live in the "foothills" of the Rocky Mountains--Calgary, AB, (Western) Canada. It was 21C one day...with snow and 4C the next morning.

Sigh.
