I'm ashamed to admit I don't know very much about this necklace. I bought it about 25 years ago from an antique jewelry store my best friend's family owned. I searched the entire thing the other day for hallmarks, but there are none. I was surprised, as I bought it in the UK and assumed it should have them. I think it's Edwardian. To be honest, other than the opals, I'm not 100 percent sure on the other stones or whether the white metal is white gold or platinum.

Anyway, here are the pics.

If you have information on it, I'd certainly appreciate it. :)

I'm sorry to information just appreciation. I love the laurel motif. I hope other PSers with more knowledge than me are able to help you out.

I'm not much help either, though I do agree with you that it may be Edwardian. Either way, it is just gorgeous! Would you mind taking a neck shot for perspective?? It's lovely....

No info here, either, but it's lovely and no one else is going to be wearing one just like it. I've always loved opals.
