precision-i was told the stone is a well cooked, souped synthetic sapphire-the appraiser worked for almost 1.5hrs & did some excellent research, visual testing & showed me what is good & not good in cooked & not cooked stones-i was satisfied with the results-bottom line is the gold work was wonderful with a value of $600.00, but the stone has a value of no more than $35.00-iv been pushing buying on ebay for quite a while & in that defense iv already been offered a full refund from the seller-i will return the stone by mail w/insurance in the next few days-this is the first or 2nd time iv got a misrepresented stone in all the buys iv done so i have no problem buying as i do-thanks for ur input & interest-steve...
