I just had a custom pendant made. It's a bezeled princess cut diamond on a 0.6mm box chain. The box chain feels kind of "scratchy" for a lack of a better word, and feels like it would be prone to kinking. I have other box chains that are the same thickness in gold that don't feel that way. Is it because of the metal type or because it's not made well?

To be honest I'm a little disappointed as to how my first custom project turned out. But I don't think it can really be fixed without redoing the entire piece.

Sparkles-

I am assuming that the chain is not custom made, even if the pendant is! I think chains almost never are! I would contact the vendor about this.

Thanks. It was custom made by a local jeweler, all he does is custom, so he had ordered the chain and the bezel and soldered them together with a jump ring. I am guessing the chain is just cheap. I am going to contact him.
