I have seen the dips like Connoisseurs and others, but I want to find a more natural cleaner.

Has anyone used "Caribbean Gem"? It's supposed to be non-toxic and biodegradable.

I've also seen some people say they use Windex, so I assume one of the natural alternatives like Seventh Generation glass cleaner would work just as well?

You can not use stuff like that on all gemstones...

I use an ultrasonic with just tap water for my diamonds. No chemicals.

I use a steam cleaner for mine -- of course only on gems that can take heat. With distilled water. You can also pre-soak things in a cleaner if you wish.

Sometimes I let mine soak in hot water, then use a gentle toothbrush.

Or Windex and a toothbrush.

I've tried jewelry cleaner, too (some generic non-ammonia kind).
