Thanks! They''re actually Brazilian. For some reason, my camera is incapable of getting the proper color on these gems. They''re a nice slightly bluish-green, but my camera makes them yellowish. I''ll post a pic in a minute where the camera turns a purple piece of fabric royal blue. Very strange.

In this one, you can see the dangles pretty well, but not the hoops.

And here we''re focused better on the huggies. I would totally wear these every day. They''re pretty but not too blingy to wear with jeans and sneakers.

This concludes my pics! I''m happy to have my Christmas present, even if it''s a month after the fact. That''s okay; the tree is still in the dining room. Who am I to complain?

I have a question into Whiteflash about the prongs, so once I know a little more about them, I''ll expound. Hope y''all like the eye candy (and HollyS, your avatar pic looks like you come from my neck of the woods!).

OMG!!!! Your earrings are to DIE FOR!!!!!!! The are yummmmmmmy, gorgeous and simply beautiful. The stones are a gorgeous color. I love the fact that you can wear the huggies alone too. Whiteflash did a fantastic job. I can''t say enough, how I Love your earrings.

Sure thing - they are 2mm wide side to side, and front to back (or top to bottom, I guess) on the hoops the inside diameter is ~10mm, outside is about 14mm.

Kellyfish - I found the emeralds at a local jeweler. After a little snafu on their part (they originally said they were non-treated) and a lot of research on mine, I came to the conclusion that emeralds are expensive.

HollyS - Glad you got here to Texas.

On another note, looking at these pictures I realized that I have earlobe creases, so I''m scheduling an appointment with my doctor to check my blood pressure and cholesterol stat! Maybe my jewelry obsession will save my life. It sounds good anyway, doesn''t it? (I think I''m too young to count as an "older people.")
