Do you roast or deep fry your turkey?

I have never tasted deep fried turkey are they good?

Nor have I, but I've seen lots of people light their lawns on fire.

I've only had it "baked in the oven" whatever that qualifies as. "NORMAL." lol I have never made one, ever, I have no idea how.

No one in my clan will probably attempt it. Since i have never even tried to bake one...I have no idea where to start.

Our deep fried turkey was perfect as usual, and no, we didn't burn anything down Contrary to popular belief, deep frying a turkey is relatively simple and safe (when you follow instructions).

We do both! This year we actually had a brined and smoked bird, a traditional oven cooked one and a deep fried turkey breast. YUM!

My husband smokes our turkey. It was 18 lbs, fresh, locally raised, free range, etc. I really like it better in the oven, but as long as he is willing to cook it, I let him do it however he wants! Here it is!

I roast the turkey. This year we tried the dry brine method and it was perfect! I am so thankful to have finally found a recipe that will be part of our family traditions for years to come!
