You guys look like supermodels! I love the pictures laying in the boat. My one criticism - not enough of that giant rock on her finger!

Best wishes for your wedding, and a preemptive congratulations.

What a fantastic thread and story.
The sapphire is gorgeous, and so are you two as a couple.

Amazing photography which can only be done when the subjects are amazing themselves. I love the black and white of the formal wear but the casual wear boat pictures are so natural. My favourite is the one where I can only see shoes peeking up above the boat/canoe. It's a whimsical shot. Of course, I did see the shocking blue of the ring but it was only in a select few pictures. Need MORE ring shots! You two are an incredibly youthful and fun couple. Congrats on the upcoming wedding.

I am a total lurker, have been for many years, but this thread is the kind that makes me have to speak up because it made my heart flutter. Your dedication to finding perfection for the one you love and the sheer joy that comes through in your posts is intoxicating. Congratulations on finding a beautiful person to share your life with and for finding a stone and ring to match. Best wishes for a wonderful wedding and glorious life together!
PS - I totally got a steampunk vibe from the first handful of your engagement shots. They are very cool and you are such a stylish couple!

Sweet thread. Dude, you're a legend. Amazing ring btw, and pretty lady. I honestly wish you the very best in life and hope you both have an amazing marriage full of happiness and prosperity.

I do have a few quick questions though.

1. Who did you buy the first two stones from that you said were heated despite being advertised as otherwise?

2. Who made your setting?

Best regards

It's threads like this one that make up for all the animosity we all had on the "sparkliest stone thread".
This is why we all hang around...for the great threads like this one.
Congrats, J-man, and hope your special day is tops!!!

petit_bijou- Thank you so much! I agree the like button would be cool. I know isn't that dress sweet!?!?! Oh yes wedding photos will be posted as well.

bright ice- Thank you! Only 3 days now!

distracts- Awe you made me blush haha! Maybe we will get more ring shots at the wedding. ;))

kenny- Many thanks Kenny!

Chrono- Thank you my friend! We wanted to include two of our favorite things in the photo shoot. Dressing up and the Water. We both grew up on the water so it was a must to include it somehow. You are not alone many people have expressed that they love the feet out of the boat picture. The photographer did get some better rings shots but unfortunately us humans in the picture didn't look that great. :blackeye:

hlmr- Bless You! Thanks so much!

PaulaW- I can't express just how much fun this whole process has been! Creating the ring was a true Joy and I can't wait to make something else for her! Thank you and this wonderful forum of fantastic people! My fiancee and I often read through this tread just to get a boost from all the wonderful comments and support. Be Blessed.

PursuitOfBling- Legend??? Ok my pride likes that a little I guess haha! Thank you very much. Ok the first stone was purchased from Gemburionline. It is one of Tan's stores but I think he changed the name of it. In hind sight I found out that Tan was going through some rough times when I bought that stone from him so I might have given him a second chance if I had known that. The second stone was actually Gemsthailand. The same store that I bought the final stone from. I was so impressed with how they handled the mistake I felt comfortable making a 2nd purchase.

Barrett- Thank you! That warmed my heart. It has been a absolute pleasure sharing this journey.

Lai761- Sorry not in California.

vinkalmann- Indeed very stressful at times but worth it! Thanks!

Your photos are amazing! You're such an artsy couple! Congratulations on your beautiful ring journey, love journey, making it on PS and your upcoming wedding!!
Diamonds are held under tons and tons of pressure, extremely high temperatures of fire and shuffled under shifting of tectonic plates, for a long, long time! Yet when they come out from there and are put on display for their beauty; does anybody stop to evaluate the diamond based upon all the shit it's been through and say "Remember that disgusting hole it used to be in? I bet it was hell in there!" No, people don't remember where a diamond has come from; they just see the beauty of it now. But it wouldn't have become so beautiful, you know, if not for all of that! So why should we look at other people, or at ourselves and evaluate them/ourselves based upon their/our pasts? Shouldn't we forget that? And only see the beauty that is in front of our eyes? Whatever it was, it made you beautiful! And that is what matters! - C. Joybell C.

Thanks for answering all the questions Justin. I have just one more left.

For the two stones that were advertised as unheated, but turned out heated, did they both come with AIGS or another other certification that stated that they were unheated? Or was it purely an assessment from the seller itself?

Best regards

UPDATE

I just wanted to stop in really quick and give you a update. My beautiful wife and I are currently enjoying our honeymoon at the Hard Rock Resort and Casino in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Sorry it has taken so long to update the thread. We have been so busy with the wedding and all the traveling.

The wedding was truly magical! I am so excited to see the pictures once we return and of course I will share them here. :)) Our first few days together as a married couple have been very exciting and interesting.... The interesting part being the drive back to our apartment when we left our wedding.

We were driving home on the I10 which is a large highway in Phoenix when we suddenly found ourselves in the middle of a car accident. As we were driving down the highway one of the vehicles in front of us was caring a mattress which suddenly fell off. I tried desperately to avoid it but unfortunately my car was hit by it. The mattress went under my car lifting the right side up into the air which resulted in us being thrown into a uncontrollable spin right in the middle of the highway. Once I regained control my car was struck in the rear by a car that was not able to stop quickly enough. Thankfully my wife and I are OK. Not even a scratch! However I am pretty sure my cherished 1991 Toyota MR2 is totaled. I put a lot of work into that car but at the end of the day its just a car. I know looking back on all of it that God definitely was watching out for us. The highway was very busy that night and the fact that only one car hit us is astounding. I have been reminded just how quickly this life can be taken away and it has helped me refocus a little on what is truly important. So I encourage you, don't take today for granted. Love Fiercely

With that behind us we are looking forward to the rest of our honeymoon! So far we are really enjoying our stay. The weather has been a bit rainy so we have not been able to enjoy the beach yet but we are hoping for sunshine tomorrow.

Thanks again to everyone who stopped by and those who commented! This past year has been the best year of our life's and Pricescope is a part of that. All of the encouragement and support has truly blessed us and I can't thank you enough! This thread is one of great joy for us and it warms our heart to read through it over and over.

To the Pricescope management, Thank you for selecting our ring as the Jewelry of the Week. Our families and friends were so excited to see this and of course so were we. It is truly an honor that I will remember for many years to come.

Many Blessings,
Justin

Welcome back, Justin.
Congrats on the newly wed status and a wonderful honeymoon. The accident sounds terrifying and I am glad that both are unharmed and well. Will the insurance company pay out the full value of your truck?

Thank you Chrono! The Toyota MR2 is actually a mid engine sports car. It does sound like a truck tho ;)) And yes the insurance company is going to cover the full value. Looks like I am going car shopping when I return.

That's a bit distressing. I wonder if they were heated after being AIGS graded then? That's assuming it stated they were unheated on the report.

Anyway, grats on the great wedding and honeymoon! Accident sounds quite scary but thank God you made it out ok.

Best of luck in future going forward. You guys make a wonderful couple!
