My grandmother has a similar pin to your grandmother, except hers has tiny pearls instead of diamonds.

I know what you mean...sometimes I catch my DIL eying my big asscher thirstily, but I don't mind...I remember doing the same thing when my Mom had it!

Thanks guys, it was fun to break it in. Sevens helped me, I would never been able to figure it all out on my own. The pin is not large, and the ring was actually my great grandmothers engagement ring and is about 150 years old. My grandmother is 94 and is a pistal!!!
