Thanks everyone for the nice comments - It's really great to have a place to share these things with people that "get it"!!! I've found that I really like the designs I see here, even those that aren't my personal taste, and I think it's because they've all been picked or designed with such care

. I've really enjoyed looking at everyone's baubles, and I'm thrilled to finally have some of my own to add

. The ring was long-planned and awaited for, the pendant a sudden inspiration of my husband's. I swear, before this I'd accumulated under 1cttw in TWELVE years, e-ring included!!!

kevin - I originally discovered tension settings on the Niessing website and fell in love. Then I found out what they cost

. Just couldn't do it. But it's all good, because I like the titanium better anyway!

chrono - maybe I could get a job as an itinerant photographer for PriceScope??? Training sessions included?! (OK, never mind, the secret is in a good macro!)

lindsal - what kind of tension setting do you have?

Hi Q! I really do like the scanner pic too. Out of all the pics you posted, I still like the UV shots. The last one you posted (on the hand) really showed the wonderful rainbow colours. I think I'll have to add fluorescence diamonds to my 2005 diamond goal but I haven't a clue what to do with them. I've already got enough rings, pendants and earrings! I need more hands.
