Since quite a few James Meyer rings are rolling into the forum, I thought it would be fun to have a thread devoted to this style.

So...let's see 'em!

I'll start:

James Meyer bezel--non-rhodium plated wg with platinum bezel and wraps.
1.85 K - VS1

Yup--the color is stable. I love the unplated gold, because it''s permanent. I also love the hint of warmth!

Interesting to know about the white gold too-I just read that recently on here about it being rhodium plated! I knew sterling silver is sometimes plated but didn''t know they did that to white gold too! Does yellow gold get plated then too or no?

wg is commonly rhodium plated. I don't like it because it's not permanent, and because I like the warmth and texture of non plated. Rhodium plated gold also tends to have a chrome like finish--some like this look, but I prefer the nonplated.

Yellow gold is not plated, because, it needs to stay...yellow!

I totally agree about their designs-- simple and so timeless, and I mean TIMELESS.. I could imagine them being in style hundreds/thousands of years ago (and hundreds of years to come!)
