For Acinom, DK and other owners, I have tried to show the blue in my stones but in certain bright light, no sunlight here at all, the rings can sometimes look white and could be at first glance thought to be white diamonds. Most of time I see blue though. I am delighted with the cut and with Alistair Kelsey in Australia who made my rings, Doug Menadue did great recommending him to me. I    my rings.

Forgot to add both my rings are size 5, the 3 stone has 2.5 ct topaz and the solitaire is 4.20 ct topaz.

Oooh! Your rings are fabulous to the max Pyramid! It's great to see your photo's: the rings look even more stunning in your pics.
Alistair Kelsey nailed it with these ring: gorgeous metalwork.
I recognize what you mean with showing it bluer or paler blue side. These stones show a different character depending on the light. I am so glad you are thrilled with both the stones as well as the setting. The rings radiate such a calm luxury. I like

Thank you Acinom.

Pyramid,

I can see the blue in the pics, and the rings are gorgeous, thanks for sharing!

DK

P.S. Perhaps we can have a mini get-together so that our four sibling stones can say hi to each other for a group hug! I could do with a city weekend break in Edinburgh. :naughty:

wow, how beautiful! Alistair did an amazing job with the metalwork, and of course Doug's stones are incredible as always. Congrats on two amazing pieces! enjoy them! :appl:

Elegant, Pyramid. Your new rings are very elegant!

They are just gorgeous Pyramid! Love the classic elegance of them.

Beautiful!

Thank you everyone for the comments on my rings. DK I would love to go to Edinburgh for a weekend too, I live 300 miles from there though. Haven't been in 8 years.

I thought you live somewhere in Scotland!

I am in Wiltshire, and can travel. Perhaps we could meet up somewhere in between our respective homes?

I am setting the Asscher first in Q2 next year (Q1 is for paying for my RH Amethyst ring as it is quite expensive to make), and the Supernova will be set in the second half of next year.

DK :))

Thanks for your update dk! Seems that 2016 will be a blingy year for you.
Lovinggems and Mochiko: how are your ideas/plans progressing on setting your natural blue topazes?
pyramid: your rings are both so beautiful. Do you wear one of the rings more often than the other?
I am wearing mine today and I snapped these pics just now (inside, dark part of the house with natural light coming from the window across the room; outside it's cloudy autumn weather)
