Questions about the setting

Hello everyone,

Just set my Aqua. Love the color of my stone but not sure about the setting. I am hoping for your advice.

The jeweler had to change the setting to accommodate the stone. I like the uniqueness of the setting but not sure if the setting is secure. Please let me know what you think？Thanks so much！

Wow! What a beautiful ring!! I will admit to knowing nothing about the secureness of the setting. But that ring almost looks like lingerie for the hand! So gorgeous!!

The setting looks extremely thin and the stone is set a mile high; this is best as a special occasion wear only ring.

Chrono, thank you for your input. I figured it will have to be babied.

Is there any simple modifications I can do to make it a little stronger? Any suggetions are much appreciated!

There nothing that can be done because the metal is so thin.

Your ring is sooooo pretty. The setting does look thin but IMHO that just adds to the beauty.
