It's strange how Cartier US and SG say "paved" whereas Cartier France says "pavé", weird!

I'm not 1000% happy with the tennis bracelet, the illusion setting isn't as fine as the one on the necklace - different jewellers. But it's ok, I'm not going to spend more time and efforts sending it back to be re-done. It's good enough. And I (will) have enough bracelets and bangles to keep me happy for a loooooooooooong time, most likely the rest of my life.

I will post pics for sure, perhaps this weekend (?).

Lol, I think I'm done with Cartier. The next two items on my wish-list are an RM watch (targeted for 2017-201 and a VCA Lotus btf ring (2018-2019).

The SA said it is no longer being made. Do you want me to ask her to do a search for you? The VCA is in a Neiman Marcus, but she can search all VCA stores. I tried on the one they had. 52. Do you need a 48?

I'm not sure what size I am yet; am going to try on the 49 at my local VCA and see. I didn't know this ring was no longer being made. The manager at my local VCA said there was a 6-mnth waiting list but no mention of it being discontinued.

At this moment, I can't afford it yet; but I'd certainly take up your offer if and when I have the funds - hopefully one would still be available then.

Thank you, LLJsmom. Yes, they are only 20 pts each. But with the illusion setting, each stone looks more like 30pts. I think the pic is an optical illusion.

It's not heavy at all. It has some weight to it, but not really noticeable.

So I went to VCA yesterday and tried on size 49 Lotus ring and it's way too big for me, which is weird bc my Cartier skinny is size 49 (abeit a bit loose).

The manager there and I worked out that I'm a size 46 on my LH and a 47 on the RH. I asked if there was a 47 (so i could wear it on both hands) available anywhere in VCA worldwide. He said there most likely there wasn't. Apparently, there's def a shortage and they won't even take a special order, bc it could take anywhere from 6 months to 2 years and they can't even say!

Just as well I can't afford one right now, haha!

Hahaha, no, the pavé is not here yet! There were several at the store, but I'm waiting (somewhat impatiently ) for THE ONE!

I'll tell you this: the Lotus ring is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!! I feel the same with it (flushed with love, or is it lust?! ) as I did with the Perlée bangle.

Oh oh btw, I saw that you're thinking of buying your mom a present, possibly VCA . Not trying to enable (who, me?! ), but I tried on the Perlée Signature bangle in WG and loved it!! I was very surprised. It's so sleek, and talk about understated elegance! The signature is very discreet, you'd have to look to see it. And it stacked beautifully with my watch, ha ha.

Phoenix, yes I can see the mis-alignment! It is totally not acceptable for a luxury brand like Cartier to be selling pieces with defects! I hope they replace it for you ASAP!
