HI, I am a long time lurker and this is my first post. I have picked out my setting. It''s platinum with 3 channel set princess cut diamonds on each side totaling .69. I am trying to decide what center stone. I have the option of a 1.1 princess or 1.66 round. I am scared the princess will blend in with the band and that the round will be too big. Does anyone have a hand shot of a similar ring with either size center stone? My ring size is an 8. Thanks so much :)

My computer won''t let me attach a pic

Hi indecisive-- you should probably post this over in the RockyTalky forum... I''m sure tons of folks will be happy to help you out, but they will want more details on the stones you are considering.

I''m not an expert to help you find a stone, but I do not think a 1.66 round will be too big at all.

1.66 is a lovely size. Have you heard of DSS (diamond shrinkage syndrome)?? Many ladies here complain that their diamonds look smaller over time LOL!
