So as I remain a lady in waiting (ugh!) I thought I would post some eye candy for you guys....besides my diamond earrings, this is all I have access to these days.....I hope you enjoy....pics are not the best but here''s what I know:

It is antique...made probably in the 1920''s or 1930''s.....there is one center stone (RB) surrounded by 8 smaller RB''s (four on each side)...it is set in white gold and is a size 6....the pictures are kind of embarassing -- my fingers look sooo long!

My "guess" for the specs would have been center stone 1.5 cts, color F or G, and clarity an I1 as there are two visible inclusions (which I don''t think you can see in my crappy pictures).....

it was appraised and I forget all the details *but* here''s what I remember

1.5 ct (just for center stone)
g-h color
clarity SI2

PICS TO COME AS SOON AS I FIGURE OUT HOW TO ADD THEM

A very pretty ring! I am curious about the period of time the ring was made and helping you date it correctly...The ring looks retro to me and has the style of a ring popular in the early 1950s with its clean lines oval shape, and cluster work of diamonds.I see elemants of Art- Deco but still am curious about when your great grandmother recieved it ,when she was born ect so we can help determine the era of manufacture...It isnt old enough to be antique because it wasnt made 100 years ago,but still is a great quality vintage ring that you should be very proud to wear and share!

Wow, that is very special!

What a unique and gorgeous ring. It''s gorgeous...

Btw, I never heard of anyone being embarrassed that their fingers were too long :) Too short maybe, but not too long! I am jealous of your long and slender fingers!
