Jeremy Shepherd and Hisano Takai are getting married this weekend in Santa Barbara. 4 Ranch girl , My DH and I are invited to attend the ceremony over looking the Pacific ocean.

Tomorrow afternoon after we land in Los Angeles, 4 Ranch Girl , DH and I are heading to Pearl Paradise. We are going to view the August specials and the items Jeremy and Hisano selected on their last trip to Hong Kong. 4 Ranch Girl just got off the phone to reconfirm our arrival time and they asked if we would like to do a video chat to show you the items we are looking at. The video chat will be starting at 2pm PST and the link will be posted on the Pearl Paradise blog. If you want to see anything else, please post your requests and we will go into “The Vault” and get them out.

As for Lucy and Ethyl at PP, I only wish that I was going to be in the vicinity of my computer tomorrow. Since I won't be, I look forward to seeing the video on the web for later viewing. I am looking forward to you two and the goodies you will be showing us!

Flygirl, The August specials are limited in number or are one of a kind creations. They will be offered at 10:00am PST on the blog. You can view some of the items there now. We will be arriving after the sale opens so many of the items will have sold prior to us arriving.
We will show them to you on the video chat. Jeremy said the items will continue to be posted during the month so keep an eye on the blog.

I just hopped over to the blog and took a look. Love that giant Tahitian button pearl. It may be sold by the time you get there, but I'd still love to see your reaction to seeing it in person. And those 8 mm metallic white drop earrings for $35 will go very fast.

Flygirl, You know me well. I was asking Jeremy about those button Edisons I can't wait to see them. The $35.00 earring do have 14k earwires, so they are a real steal.

I'll be attending a funeral in support of a friend tomorrow morning at the exact time the PP special sale begins. There's no possible way to even TRY for metallic drops, but I wish you all the best of luck in getting new pearly treasures and I can't WAIT to see the livecast (if it stays posted for a while) and am anxiously awaiting all your photos and stories of success!

Yes, Hisano and Jeremy had a ceremony in Japan last year. This wedding is for family and friends here in the US.

my Brita girl kitty has a vet appointment at 1130a so not sure if i'll be able to catch the first wave at 10a for the new items. however, I should be watching live at 2p. i'd love to see the pearl/color stone necklace......but I fear i'd want it longer than what I see currently at the blog.

have fun and know that the rest of us are envious!

ps artisan starts my Pompeii earring project this week. I think I may want something to go with it.......

Thanks for the head's up! I've been wanting to see if I would be a pearl girl for awhile now, so for $35, I figure it's not too much of a risk to try. I got a pair of the metallic drop earrings, so yay!

John has a real eye for color and loves working with shades of the came color. Here are some of the pearls he is working with in his studio. You can see the wax casting he showed us on the youtube video laying by the pearls.
