A ring for my husband

I want to design a ring for my husband and I am looking for some ideas. It must be simple, tasteful and functional as he is not into flashy and works with his hands a lot.

If you have any pictures I would gladly welcome them. I have zillions of loose stone I can use and am currently thinking of a princess cut cognac diamond that I have a couple of
