Happy new week all!

I don't know where this year is going....
33.gif
Now its August and the year is on the turn, the position of the sun is changing and I am so conscious of time passing....
40.gif
To me this is a very beautiful time of year, the time of harvest and impending Fall, the weather is often better in the UK, not normally quite so rainy or hot with the other extreme, plus so many things to look forward to....open fires, trees changing colour, frosty mornings....

Anyway I digress! One thing I have been doing this past week in particular is really trying to think about each bite I eat. Whether I am hungry and need more food, or whether I am eating for other reasons. I have found this quite enlightening just to slow it down a little and concentrate on what I am eating. Often as we know it is the small changes which can really add up over time to give us a great result, so I am trying to work out exactly when to stop eating, not to wait until I am bloated or full up, but to reach that point where I can feel my hunger begin to diminish - for me thats the signal that I have had enough. Interestingly I find I remain full just as long as if I carry on eating until I feel really full, over time that can be a lot of calories saved. So this is what I am working on at the moment, it might be a good idea just to slow down a bit and try this out, just take note of how you feel when eating and where your individual ' point of plenty ' is. This can really on reflection add up to lots of calories saved in a week just by using this as another method of treating food as fuel and only ingesting what we need.

Have a great week

Good Morning; now that I am at goal, Weight Watchers has you weigh in once a month so I weighed in over the weekend and I am still at goal. It made me happy not to have to pay for once. hehe
9.gif

I have lots and lots of ironing to do today. I did walk over the weekend and had a nice long walk yesterday. This week i am throwing some jogging in. Oh we have a HOT week ahead of us here, 97 ish today. Hope everyone isn't too hot.

DANIELLE, AWESOME on your Race!!!!!!

DEGEE, hi there!

MARCY, sounds like you had a great weekend.

LORELEI, that is an awesome opener I think I tend to do that at restaurants and now I am thinking things through before I do that or just say "it is okay to leave our food there." I am definitely more aware of being full.

ROD, hugs about the leg.

Lorelei~ I was just pondering that about the fall, too. I love the fall and am excited to be able to get outside more.

Skippy~ Bah! to all the ironing and heat. YAY for staying at your goal!

Rod~ I hope you have a good day with your pain today.

I was finally able to do a full yoga yesterday. It felt so good. I still had to take it easy on my foot so I went with a plow workout (where you roll backwards and throw your legs up and over your body.)

That''s all from me.

Have a great day!

Lorelei - great intro. I agree looking into WHY we are eating, is definately a good thing.. with EVERY bite, and not just with the meal!

skippy - WHOOO HOOO! MAINTENENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOLLA!!!!!
9.gif

shiny - glad you were able to get your workout in. I hope your foot heals up nicely! What an awful place to have an injury!

Posh- congrats on your 5# weight loss... wanted to give you major kudos!!!
36.gif

Rod- PROGRESS! (even if the pain was there, I''m sooo happy that you are making progress.) And how fantastic you were able to sleep well. That is a treat better than starbucks AND sushi, huh?!?
1.gif

Marcy- WHOOOO Diamond earrings from WF! MAjor yums! Your hubs crax me up... the song choices are very funny indeed... esp since he travels so much. But I guess it is the little things that make all the traveling bareable.

Danielle - WHOOP WHOOP! PR on your 5k!!!! WAY TO ROCK IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! "Do a little dance... make a little love, get down tonight... get down tonight!!!" Sorry but the Sunshine Band and Mr KC totally get me into my happy dance mode! That is phenom!

deegee- awesome on your new pants.. .and surprising your skinny self with the smaller size. That is super awesome! I''m sorry to hear that you are stiff - and I hope that you start to feel less achey soon.

Everyone! HAPPY MONDAY!!!

Wow, what a week HLTers! look at all your successes. That is just phenomenal! I''m very happy for you all and am popping out the confetti for all that goody good news! My weekend was great. I''ll start with Friday. Friday I met with my Dr. We talked about a lot of things, and she ordered a lot of bloodwork. (I get my blood drawn thursday.) She was concerned about the number of calories I''m eating (paired w/ my nutrition), and the fact that I''m gaining weight. I knew that wasn''t normal. I had brought in my exercise - nutrition charts... and she looked at them closely. She was also concerned about other things that never occured to me to be an issue, like how much water I consume. Hello? It is hot in the desert. So we''ll see. I brought my old test results from tests done a few years ago, and apparantly my thyroid wasn''t too great. She wants to get that test redone, as well as test to see if I have diabetes. I don''t... but I guess she''s going through all the possibilities to figure things out. If my tests don''t show anything, she''s going to send me to a metabolic specialist for some further tests. I guess to see what my BMR is? I don''t know. We''ll go over that more specifically when the results come in from the bloodwork. I don''t feel as frustrated, because I''m having someone listen to me... but it is still hard to watch the weight creep up, when I''m eating normal. (She told me not to drop my calories - to make sure I dont throw off any tests... just continue doing what I''m doing, because that is a very healthy diet and exercise regimine... and I should be losing about 1-2 pounds a week with that combo. Problem is, I''m gaining weight instead.

So saturday, my hubs and I celebrated national mustard day with a yellow bbq.
http://bbq.about.com/od/barbecuesaucerecipes/r/bl80905a.htm we threw all these into the crock pot with a pork tenderloin. Cooked for 6 hours... took out and YUM! What an interesting and wonderful taste! We served with snap beans, a few red potatoes that we cooked in the oven with rosemary and a few other spices! YUM! The rest of the weekend was good. Runs and swims were good. So no complaints there.

Hello ya''ll!!!!

It has been forever since I posted, probably b/c I haven''t done any dedicated exercise until two days ago....boy was that tough!!!! Thought I would die while running....We''ve been on vacay and are going again tomorrow, so I just eat and drink and don''t do much else.....no wonder my shorts are tight!

Hope everyone is well and keep up the good work folks!!

Hey......It was a long day at work, but not an awful one. My leg hurt, but maybe just a tad less. There actually times when the pain was not the most prominent in my head, so I guess that''s some progress. And when I met Charlie for dinner, I noticed that I was able to sit at the table with my leg firmly on the floor, which I know doesn''t sound like much, but really is some improvement. I have physical therapy after work tomorrow, then I''m going to the gym from there. I''ll be able to get out of the gym a little quicker, snce I will have already done my stretches at therapy. Anyway, I guess there''s progress, albeit just a smidge.......Oh and after I checked in last night, my father called and told me my brother was having surgery today as they found a mass on one of his kidney''s and my mother is having tests to see if she might have something nasty growing on her pancreas. We still don''t know about my mother''s results yet, but my brother''s prognosis looks good as they think the mass was scar tissue and the doctor is having it biopsied to make sure. We just don''t how lucky we are until we have to worry about our health. "Health IS Wealth!"

Great opener as usual Lorelei!!! You always give us something to think about and we''re so grateful to you for getting us off on a good footing for the week!! It''s funny you would mention the passing of time. I noticed when I got up this morning it was darker outside, even though the sky was perfectly clear. I know it''s odd, but I don''t like getting up when it''s dark outside. I think the sun should be up before me........ LOL

That''s wonderful that you''re still at goal Skippy!!!!! I''m glad they only make you weigh in monthly. It helps to not obsess about getting on the scale. I rarely weigh myslef anymore, but there was a time I was obsessed with the scale and weighed in at least twice a day. The scale is evil.....pure evil, I''m telling you!!

Thanks SS. I''m glad you were able to do a full yoga yesterday!

And thank you too tlh. I''m glad you''re doctor is listening to you and trying to figure out what''s going on. I''m sure everything will turn out just fine.......

Hey Sharon......even if you don''t do any dedicated exercise, you don''t have to stay away. And tough is a good thing once in a while. Good for you!

Hey Diva..........

Hi all!

Lorelei - you''re right about small changes really adding up. I have been on WW since April, and I have re-learned portion sizes. I bought a food scale, and I measure everything. I have also learned that I get full on a lot less food than I thought I needed.

Skippy - yay for maintenance! I can''t wait until I get there. Do you do well with weighing in once a month, as in do you keep up with it? I''m hoping to stay motivated and keep up with everything after the at work program ends.

Marcy - ooh yes, jewelry shopping! My husband was so confused when I told him that I''m going to buy myself a pair of 30 pound earrings. I hope you''re thrilled with your WF purchase. My ering, wband, and pendant were purchased from WF, and I love them!!

Rod - I''m sorry you''re having so much trouble. I herniated a disk 3 years ago, and I remember it being the most excruciating pain I have ever felt. I had to change my work hours to part-time for a year. I hope you start seeing relief soon.

tlh - I hope you get answers soon. All that exercise! I wish I could get it in gear and do just a fraction of what you''re doing. I''d be happy if I could get my daily walk up to 4 miles.

shiny - glad you were able to do your yoga today. I found my yoga DVD - it''s called "yoga for inflexible people." I wonder if I''m coordinated enough to do it.

Today was a good day. It finally stopped raining, so I was able to walk Lily (my puppy). I''m still stiff and achy so I couldn''t do my full walk, but it felt good just to get outside and move. I''m sad & lonely until my hubby gets back on Friday...I hope the week passes by quickly!

Hello my HLT friends!!!

I''ve been gone for so long! My internet crapped out and it was TORTUROUS!!! but it''s back now and I can finally check in. I''ll go through last week''s post and respond to everyone.

Lorelei, great opener. I''ve been way more conscientious about my food intake and I feel my eating habits have improved. I''m hoping my body will soon start changing in response.

Skip, Yay for your goal weight!!! That''s so awesome!! 97F! That''s hot hot HOT! It finally got hot and summery here at 85 today. About time!!!!

Shiny, Yay yoga!!! Sis and I hit yoga last week. Not my fav place, but hers. I think that studio is her fav only because she hasn''t tried my favorite yet. Ha ha. I''m glad you had a good workout. Sorry about your foot. (I need to catch up on my reading!)

TLH, I hope your blood tests and results come back okay. It''s good to know your doc doesn''t think you''re crazy. You pork tenderloin sounds yummy!

Sharon, enjoy vacation!!!! I totally know what you mean about it getting hard after some time off of working out!! It''s so easy to be lazy and so hard to do what you''re supposed to. Have a great vacation!!!

Diva, great for checking in. How''s your eats been?

I had my sessions with my trainer. He''s very impressed with how we''re doing and we''re really liking the strength program. My friend asked if we''ll stay on with him, and I think we''ll definitely stay until ski season. I want to see what kind of awesome skiing I can do when I"m in shape and strong. But with the new job and my wedding/honeymoon, it''s possible I won''t get ANY time off for ski trips aside from holidays.
7.gif

The eats this weekend was pretty out of control. Our friend came into town, so a lot of eating out (Fri night:pizza, Saturday: Greektown, Sunday: sushi), a fair amount of drinking. I''ll be making it up this week on the workouts. My friend and I took the pooch on a 3 mile run. So that was good. Tomorrow is another session. Then hoping to workout for the rest of the week.

I haven''t posted my pictures from my first fitting, but when I do I''ll link it here so some of you ladies who were interested can see it.

Hi.Happy Monday!

35.gif

Lorelei, great opener!Funny you should mention the changing weather, when I was water watering flowers this morning I thought it felt like fall out there. What a wonderful idea to focus on why you are eating and to also stop when are start to feel hungry.Saving a few calories here and there can really add up.

Skippy, you should be doing the happy dance.

Congratulations for still being at goal. That is awesome.

Somethingshiny, I am glad you did a full round of yoga yesterday.I bet it did feel great. How is your foot doing?

Tlh, Marty ended up using a U2 song for my ringtome but I can’t remember which one.It wasn’t an obnoxious one like his original suggestions.I have a sappy song on when he calls but my phone displays a very goofy picture of him which makes me laugh.Glad to hear the doctor is giving you some extensive tests and is paying attention to what you are saying.I hope they figure out what is going on and it’s good she thinks you are doing everything right (which of course me knew anyway).

Sharon, have fun on your second vacation.

Diva, I hope you had a great weekend.

Rod, you are so right about health is wealth.I hope your mom and brother are fine and wish them a speedy recovery. That is great you were able to set with your leg on the floor.

Deegee, I know WF jewelry is awesome so I will probably still get my earrings even though I am struggling with what to do (see below).I am delighted to hear you like your pieces. They are a great place to work with. This week will go by quickly for you.I usually go wander the mall or meet girl friends for supper to entertain myself when Marty is gone.

Lisa, no internet? How did you survive?LOL.Where we go camping there isn’t even cell phone service; it’s almost creepy but nice since Marty has not peace with work calls. How wonderful to know your trainer is impressed with what you are doing and how well you are doing it. I will look forward to your pictures from your fitting.

I had a busy day. Most of it was spent wondering should I or shouldn’t I buy diamond studs from WF?I want a small pair of WG studs to match a pendant that has a .15 ct diamond in it.I think a .33 ct. pair of studs would go great with it.WF has to make them custom for me because their standard 4 prong ready set go doesn’t come in a .33 ctw.Their price for the .33 ct is $550 which is a $200 price jump from their .25 ct which seems a bit high for adding .04 ct on each diamond.I don’t mind paying that much for earrings because I know they will be dynamite but what if I find I don’t like them that small - my other ones are .75ctw?With the RSG studs I can’t upgrade them.I eventually want to get some of the ready set go WG martini studs in either .50 ct or.75 ct so is it dumb to get a smaller pair now?If I get a .33 ct or .40 ct pair from my usual jeweler they are less than $300 and I can upgrade them for $1 more anytime I want.I know they won’t be ideal cut but they are better than most studs out there.I have a pair of studs from them in YG and they are quite nice.In a nutshell, do I buy a pair for half the price that are decent and I can upgrade someday or spend $550 on an awesome pair that I would have to keep forever? Decisions, Decisions. What would you do?Thanks for your opinions.

Marty left for Sunnyvale, California today. They had thunderstorms to fly around so they almost flew up here before heading west.He got to CA about 90 minutes late.He will be home Wednesday.

After work I picked up a door prize for our star party, delivered our astronomy newsletter to be copied and went to the mall (to try on assorted sizes of earrings).

And now it’s well past my bedtime. But are any of us surprised at that?Probably not.

Take care.

See ya!

I remember a few of you wanted to see pictures from my fitting.

I'm all caught up from last week:

Shiny, OUCH! on the foot! I'm glad nothing really bad happened with the tornados.

Rod, I hope you PT is giving you some better treatment and exercises for you disc. How's the swimming going?

Degee, WELCOME!

Marcy, WF studs sound great!!! I'm glad Marty's back from HK. But he's on the road again? I barely survived the no internet, believe me. I really can't weigh in if you want to get the studs because I'm a bad influence...

Lisa, thanks for the link. You look wonderful and the dress is a knockout! Woo hoo!!! This morning I am still considering the 1/2 ctw PC studs from WF; it''s the same amount as money but I get a 1/2ctw. I know I will get encouraging votes from the many enablers on Pricescope.

Hi all and happy Tuesday everyone!

Hi liang! I saw your pictures and you look stunning! You look like you''re in great shape!

marcyc, you''re replaced my thoughts of cake with jewelry...
30.gif
I say get the awesome pair earrings that you love and will keep forever. I''ve personally never gotten anything from WF, but I''ve heard nothing but good things.

deegee, I''m glad you were able to get your walk in. What kind of puppy do you have? I hope you feel better soon.

Rod, progress is progress, no matter how small, and I''m glad you''re showing improvement.

canuk-gal, YAY for exercising again. I totally understand what you mean. I''ve been inconsistent at the gym for about a month until last week and I was so winded while doing my cardio that I thought I wasn''t going to make it. Just know that as you start getting back into the routine that it''ll be effortless. Then it''ll be time to step up the pace!

tlh, I hope everything turns out well with your bloodwork. It''s good that you went to see a doctor. As for the pork tenderloin. YUM!!!! I just got a slow cooker and I''ve just added that to the list of things to try.

somethingshiny, yoga sounds awesome! I mentioned last week that I want to try it and you''re the second person to give it a thumbs up. I''m definitely going to have to get my butt in gear and try it this week.

Skippy, congrats for staying at your goal!

As for me, I''m headed to the gym today. I promised myself that I would start going back at least twice a week and spend 2 days doing at home exercises. I''m actually a little excited to go today so I''m counting down the hours I have left at the office. Oh! My dress fitting went really well on Friday. Besides the euphoria I felt from seeing my dress for the first time in 6 months, I was even more excited that the dress was falling off of me. Literally. I''m waiting to get the pics from my Mom and once I do, I''ll post them in BWW.

Hi Everyone! No workouts to report yet this week as I took the day off yesterday to do some grocery shopping :). I am addicted to the sbux turkey bacon breakfast sandwiches, but I have been spending WAY too much money on breakfast/lunch in the past couple of months. So I decided to stock up on the ingredients and make the sandwiches myself. I just need to learn to get up 10 minutes earlier so I have time to brew the coffee! We also stocked up on some veggies and miscellaneous healthy foods which is always gooooood.

tlh - I''m glad your doctor is listening! Based on everything you''ve written here, it definitely doesn''t seem right you are gaining. Hopefully the bloodwork will give some answers and help get you back on track with your weight! I have heard that thyroid issues can mess with your weight so good that your doc is rechecking that. Thanks for the kudos on the 5k. I definitely did a happy dance!

Skip - yay for still being at your goal!!! We are expecting a high in the 90''s today which I believe is one of the firsts this summer for us. We generally don''t usually get hotter than the high 80''s, but we have to deal with humidity. It''s icky!! I have been going running now right before itgets dark b/c it def. cools off after 7ish.

Somethingshiny - hope your foot continues to improve so you can do more yoga!!

Sharon - it''s tough coming back those first couple of workouts after a break! Good for you fitting it in between your vacay''s though!

Rod - hope the pain continues to get better even if only in tiny increments. Hope everything works out with your parents and brother with their medical issues!

deegee - Relearning portion sizes is a crazy thing! I find it depressing to go to restaurants when you know it''s 3x the amount of food you really need to eat? I don''t have a problem taking leftovers home, but I do wish they''d give the option for a half entree or something! My friends (a married couple) usually share an entree, but my hubby is a big eater so we always have to get our own (of course he''s naturally thin).

Liang - your dress looks BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!! I will reply to your dress thread, but you look great & strong! Glad you are having fun with the trainer!

Marcy - I think I''d go with the WF studs - all the ones posted here are AMAZING. But mayyyyyyybe just wait a bit and save up until you can get the .5/.75!

Diva - yay for the dress being too big! I can''t wait to check it out!

Oh - I forgot. So I have been totally jealous of my hubby''s Garmin GPS watch. They are on sale this week at Best Buy for $129.99. I was THISCLOSE to buying one and even had it in my shopping cart this morning ready to put my cc info in and then I stopped myself. I don''t NEED this watch. I''ve been perfectly happy with my Nike + so far and if my hubs is not running, he is fine with my using his watch. So although I am the teeeeeeeeensiest bit bummed b/c who doesn''t want a new toy, I am REALLY happy with my restraint! We are going on vacation in 2 weeks and I''d rather spend that money on a nice dinner or a fun tour! Yay me!!!

hope you''re having fun on your vacations, and can squeeze in some extra walks!

diva - hello! can''t wait to see your dress fitting pictures! The pork tenderloin is awesome! You should try it if you like things with a little kick. What are you doing at the gym tonight? I really like the escalator stair stepper, elyptical, and spin classes. Plus I really like to use the free weights too. I do mini circuits there with the bench. (My favorite circuit - Barbell squats, barbell arm curls, lunges, pushups, bench situps, tricp dips.)

rod- I hope your mother is alright, and that your brother recovers quickly from his biopsy. I''m glad that you are seeing small results from all the hard work you are putting in at the gym and w/ the PT. Yeah, I''m sure everything will be ok. You should see the test writeup! It is quite comical. I hope they dont have to draw a tube of blood per test... i''ll be empty! haha

deegee- Sounds like the icky weather brings in the aches and pains. I''m sorry to hear that. Whenever I feel icky, sweet dreams tea and my pooch make me feel much better. I hope you and Lily have fun w/ the hubs is away, and that he is back soon.

Lisa- I was wondering where you scooted off to! Glad to have you back. Who knows, she may think I''m a whack job for working out as much as I do! HA!
19.gif
But at least we''re getting a pretty complete picture of my innies. I''m glad this trainer is making you a lean mean SEXY WOMAN! Your confidence is off the charts, and that is phenom! And juding from the dress pics, it should be! My goodness, hello BODY! You look fantastic! The pics from your fitting are awesome!
36.gif

marcy- U2 isn''t bad... probably better than lying eyes... but man did that put me in stitches! I like that you have a sappy love song and goofy pic of him when he calls you. A little bit of you (the romantic) pair with your jokester mate! How awesome is that! Aww, thanks for saying I''m right! Gosh how I can''t get enough of those words.. maybe it''s the estrogen?
9.gif
Now the fun stuff! The earrings. My thought is how long will you be happy with them? I think that even with a .33ct from whiteflash, the cut will be phenom... the sparkle, everything. I notice w/ my studs though I have to take them out every day and clean them. aparantly my workouts make my ears quite nasty... and when you say eventually want to get .5 or .75.. is this eventaully like next year, in 2 years, 5 or 10? If it is in the next year or two, I say wait all together, and bust out the pair you already have... and then get the banging awesome pair. If it is in 5,10 years, then what are you waiting for? Get the WHITEFLASH ONES! Sure the jeweler may have ones that are less expensive and have a $1 trade up policy, but the ones you eventually want are WHITEFLASH ones. Even if they don''t have a trade in policy for the Go''s... put together all the pieces and go custom on a recycling project! I think you''ll be happier in the long run with those.

Danielle - Well breakfast is the most important meal of the day! So I''m glad you''re taking a few extra minutes to make an extra yummy one! Yeah, she''s evaluating my thyroid amongst other things. i''ll just be happy to know why I''m in a funk! HA! Good job not spending the money on a watch! I know I''ve done that many times with stuff... and I''ll just leave it in the purchase stage for awhile... often times when I come back at the end of the day, I''m like... eh I don''t need that. Hit the little x and I''m totally okay with everything! But you deserve a pat on the back for that one, I can tell how much you like your hubbies watch. But look at it this way... when you have your nike and he has his garmin... you can compare your results!
9.gif

Everyone! happy tuesday! Yesterday I looked up exactly what the tests that I''m going to have done were. HOLY SMOKES. This Dr is covering all the bases. That is a good thing, but wowzers. I had no idea that they''d be doing xrays of my insides. I just thought they''d be drawing some blood. I''m getting the complete overhaul. They are running 9 tests in total and cover all of my internal organs (in the trunk). So that is interesting. I guess results don''t come back right away either. So I''m not stressing about it. I''m a little sad that I can''t exercise before the test.. or eat... so I''ll probably be a little crabbier than usual all day thurs. But, today''s run was awesome. It was boiling again, and the heat advisory is still in effect. 115* today. It was 91* at 5am when I was running.. and I think I''ll hide myself indoors for the remainder of the day. I''ll probably do some yoga tonight to calm and relax myself. My mom is great. She has started her PT and is improving. She is very happy to have the use of both her hands, and even though somethings are difficult (putting on her bra) she can wash her hair and kinda style her hair now... so she''s really happy. My brother is 1# away from his goal weight. I''m so happy for him. He said he''s gone off the diet foods, and is now focused on portion control. That makes my heart SING! So all in all things are pretty good!

tlh~ LOL to mustard day. Of course, a few days ago was National Cheesecake day. I was disappointed because I couldn''t celebrate. I hope you get some answers with your bloodwork. I hadn''t realized you were gaining weight. It must be very frustrating doing everything right and not seeing results.

Canuk~ HI! Enjoy your vacation!

Diva~ I love yoga. I''m sure the HLTers are sick of hearing about it. I don''t do any other workout. I''m not a runner or a gym person. Yoga is the first thing I''ve found that I can stick with. I''ve increased my flexibility and strength and it really does help you to clear your mind. Very necessary with a laid off hubby and a 3 yr old! I''m flexible to begin with, but in doing yoga I can fold my size 16-18 self in half. I only do yoga in my living room on a mat with my DVR. Namaste yoga (on Fit Tv) is my fav. Also, I suggest belly dancing. It''s fun and a good workout. btw-I love your signature line!

Rod~ It sound like the pain is still pretty bad, but I''m glad you''re able to get your mind off of it a bit. Your mom and brother are in my prayers. (and you too)

deegee~ I can''t imagine an "inflexible" yoga. I kinda wanna see it.
1.gif
I hope your week flies by!

lliang~ I wish I could get to a yoga studio. The closest thing we have is a gym that occasionally runs yoga sessions. Great job on your continued training! Beautiful you in your beautiful dress!

Marcy~ My foot is doing better, thanks for asking. I heal quickly so I think it''ll be better within the week. (I hope!) Now, i''ll probably be going against PS standards here, BUT, I wouldn''t spend that much $ on earrings you''ll not be happy with forever. Personally, I''d go with your usual jeweler. I''ve seen lots of your baubles from them and they are beautiful and sparkly even if they''re not "ideal." Okay, obviously Marty is gone a lot. May I ask what he does for a living?? The curiosity is killing me!

Danielle~ WOW, what will-power!! I''m a sucker for a watch!

SO, last night we had herbed chicken and carrots and steamed green beans (fresh from the garden) and peppers and onions. I decided we were going to eat mostly veggies and some protein instead of our usual carb loading. JT and I loved it! DH, however, required a steak to be made because he couldn''t eat any of it.
20.gif
I''m going to try some curry stuff tonight. I''ve never made any kind of curry but I think it''s time to expand these tastebuds I live with!

We played at the park and took a nice walk yesterday before my foot started bothering me, hopefully I can get a little further today.

Have a great day!

Hi my health seeking friends.

35.gif
I hope you had a great day.

Diva, I am glad I gave you less fattening thoughts; but they are more expensive.I ordered the ½ ctw pair of princess cut ready set to go earrings.I am very excited.I will be excited to see your dress and how exciting it was so big now.Yippee!

36.gif

Danielle, good luck on getting up earlier.I try but never succeed.Of course I think you all know I don’t tend to go to bed on time.I hope to get the .75 pair in martini settings some day from WF; of course my wish list is long and ever expanding.Good idea to save your money for your vacation.I am sure you’ll find many ways to spend money then.

Tlh, I am going to have to try and remember which U2 song it was. It’s a total let down after all his funny suggestions.I would agree us people with estrogen like to hear those little words “I am right”.Maybe that is what drives us to utter those dreaded words “I told you so”.Ha Ha.I agree totally with you too on the WF earrings.I can hardly wait to get them.I told Juli I don’t know what I am more excited about getting my own WF photo to post on Pricescope or to have them on my ears. She said I would get a “glamour shot” to post.Too funny. So you are getting some thorough testing, huh?Glad to see you are getting a total check up though. How exciting for your mom to be starting PT and being able to do some things now.

36.gif
Congratulations to your brother for being 1 pound away from goal and starting to focus on portion control.

Somethingshiny, sorry I missed out on National Cheesecake day; I would have taken one for the team and eaten some of that awful stuff to help celebrate. If you hear about a national hot chocolate chip cookie day please let me know ahead of time, okay? That is wonderful to hear your foot is doing better.I too hope it is all better in a week.I so agree with you I shouldn’t spend that much money on earrings I may not be happy with forever and that helped me make my decision.Thank you for the kind words about my baubles, I know my jeweler is not popular on PS but I would be proud to show my stuff at any PS GTG.Marty is an engineering manager and his departments do networking, altering and transferring of data.I hate to go in to more detail because if I did you would know where he works. His travels are for various reasons. He is in charge of the same departments in other places. He also travels to vendor’s sties to see their new equipment that they want him to buy and he will be traveling a lot now for the design and layout of new places plus figuring out their equipment needs. He gets calls 7 days a week and 24 hours a day and it’s often not good news but he likes the challenge and I am sure he is loving getting to build new places rather than doing the management side from his desk.I am not fond of him being gone so much but now that I am a healthy person I am quite capable of staying by myself. In the old days I was always stressed when he was gone from the angst of my overworked heart, high blood pressure and inability to do much of anything for myself. Now I have a step stool, his credit cards and can easily shop the mall till closing. The only thing keeping me up at night now is the excitement of new bling not the rapid beat of my strained heart.Your dinner sounds great.Eat some chicken for me.I hope you can walk further tomorrow.

This morning I finally remembered the reason I wanted to buy new diamond studs was because I missed my pair of ½ ctw princess cut earrings. They were friction back and I wore them a lot on lazy days or feeling slightly yucky days; they were easy and sparkly.Of course they were also from a mall jewelry store and had the “ewe” faction.I honestly tried to upgrade them for their “buy something twice as expensive deal” but the larger studs just showed the poor cut and bad clarity more so and now those studs are side stones on a rhodolite garnet ring. When talking to a girl from WF this morning it became as clear as the facets in an ideal cut diamond what I should so I ordered a pair of ½ ctw PC studs and they will ship on the 10th.I am so excited.

9.gif

I burned my supper; I was cooking a burger on the stove (it was hailing and raining outside) and got busy on your posts and burned one side.Rats.I scraped off the one side, used a 100 calorie English muffin for my bun and had some sun chips with it.Lunch was lean cuisine raviolis with a ton of raw veggies.I took my parents out about 4 pm for pie because my dad cut down some branches for me yesterday.I ate the inside of some apple pie so I actually had my treat before supper.

Marty gets home late tomorrow night. He should be home for at least a month now.Yippee.

I am off to bake up a batch of mini muffins for my mid morning snack. They are 150 calories if you get 6 muffins so will make them in to 8 muffins and they will be 120 cals each.I love muffins.

Hey....so many good posts today and it's already after 10 and I sitll have an hour of stretches to do, so I won't be able to say hello to each of you individually. It was a decent day pain wise. My PT thinks I'm making progress, albeit small steps, but they are in the right direction, so I'm encouraged......a bit. I went from PT to the gym and did have a decent workout and found my leg wasn't hurting too much through my workout. It was kind of nice that I was able to do an hour with the PT, then do my gym workout, which was just all about working out. Anyway, some progress has been made. Thanks for everyone's kind thoughts and prayers for my mother and brother. We're still waiting for results from both their tests, but my brother's prognosis look's good thus far. Tomorrow night's not a gym night, so I'll write more then. Thanks everyone!!!

Oh and Marcy......buy what will make you the happiest. There's nothing wrong with having multiple sets of studs that suit different wardrobe options. If I were you and could afford them, I'd get the $550 set. And as a PS icon here, you can bet they'll pick out a pretty darn terrific pair for you.....Are you listening WF? You'd better take great care of our Marcy!!! I helped a guy I know get his engagement ring from WF. It was an absolutely stunning diamond for sure. Oops, I see you decided on a WF set, so congratulations my dear!!

OK......I've got stretches to do........see you all tomorrow......

Hi Friends, I have been sooooo busy; just a bunch of crazy things going on so I didn't excercise today, plus it was 98 or something crazy today. I plan to wake up early and excercise. The bad thing today is that I met hubby for lunch and I didn't know that what I would order would be super fatty so it didn't sit too well in my tummy so for dinner I had some carrots and a banana to balance things out and help the tummy ache.
Hope everyone is having a great start to the week, it looks like it so far!

Wow - how does everybody keep up with this thread? You guys are awesome!

lliang - your dress is gorgeous and you look great in it. Congrats on your upcoming wedding.

marcy - you crack me up. Before I could even weigh in on your dilemma, you already ordered something! I totally need to adopt your attitude for when hubby is out of town. It takes me so dang long to pick anything out...by the time I get around to picking out my 30-pound earrings, I''ll be at goal and then I have something BIG planned. Don''t know what yet, but it''s gonna be big!! I meant to tell you the other day that my mom took Wilton cake decorating classes when I was a kid. I was the envy of all the neighborhood kids when it came to birthday cake time. We got to pick out anything we wanted from the Wilton book, and mom made it. I had totally forgotten about that.

diva - Lily is a little rescue mutt dog, and I adore her. Her dad is a border collie, and people are always asking me if she is one. She has sooooooo much energy. It''s been raining heavy almost nonstop for days, so I haven''t let her out as much for her daily running around the yard and she''s been bouncing off the walls. Glad your dress fitting went well. Post pictures! Even though I''m an old married lady, I love to visit to BWW to see everyone in their dresses!

danielle - I swear that relearning portion sizes has helped me more than anything with weight loss. I have been measuring everything I eat at home, and I can kind of judge how many portions are on my plate at restaurants. Hubby and I used to eat out every single day, every single meal. Now we''re only eating out Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. I hear you about trying to get up 10 minutes early! I swear I''m going to get up earlier every day, but it never seems to happen. For some reason, the earlier I set my alarm the later I get up.

tlh - geez...I can''t believe how hot it is where you are! Holy smokes!! Yay for your brother being near goal, good for your mom doing well. What did your mom do to her arm? I broke my elbow and wrist a few years ago. I credit my most awesome physical therapist for getting it going again. It sounds like a good thing that your doctor is being thorough with the tests. Hopefully she figures it out for you really soon and you can get back to normal.

shiny - I hope your foot gets better soon. I broke my foot last September (good grief - I sound like such a klutz!), and it absolutely drove me crazy! It still swells when I take my walks, and it limits how far I can go. Very frustrating! My hubby absolutely HATES any food that might in any way be considered healthy. He likes fried, I like grilled. He likes candy & soda, I like water & fruit. And he''s the skinny one. So wrong.

Geez-I feel like such a huge klutz after posting all of my injuries. I have some serious balance issues!

Other than the non-stop rain, today was a great day. I wore my new, smaller clothes to work yesterday and today, and I think all 70 of my coworkers stopped by to ask how much weight I had lost and to complement me. I don''t like a lot of attention, so by the end of the day it was a little overwhelming. It made me feel really good though. I came home and did a major cleaning out of my closet, and bagged up every single pair of pants that were too big. It was very liberating. (he-he, I''m donating 53 pairs of pants!) Tomorrow I start on my shirts and jackets. It''s supposed to rain again tomorrow, so I''ll have plenty of indoor time to work on it. Lily and I took our walk in the rain, and I think the stinky wet dog smell is now permanent.

I wish everyone a great day tomorrow!

Hi Skippy! Thanks for the lifetime info. The leader touched upon it briefly a few weeks ago, but so many people in our group seem to have come up with the blahs and aren''t even trying or tracking anymore. I''m going to get there, although I keep changing my mind at what I think my goal should be. I hope your belly ache feels better soon! I was trying to add a little variety in my veggie selection today and ate brussels sprouts. I like them about as much now as I did when I was a kid (when I was made to try them). I''ll stick with my usual from now on.

Rod, woo hoo fora less painful day for you.

36.gif
My thoughts are with your brother and mother and I sure hope you’ll have good news on them soon.I did buy exactly what I wanted so I am sure I will be delighted with them.WF has been treating me well and I am glad to hear your friend got a nice ering from them.Hope those stretches helped.

Skippy boo to a crazy day but I hope it was good crazy.I hope your tummy gets better soon.Greasy food doesn’t set well with me anymore either.Which is probably a good thing. My mom is a lifetimer at ww and goes to meetings every week. She has been on maintenance for a few years now.Yay for us getting new studs.

1.gif
Congratulations on your upcoming 10 year anniversary; what a great present. What are you getting him?

Deegee, keeping up with this thread does keep me up sometimes but it is fun.I don’t make decisions too quickly either.I have been toying with replacing the PC studs for awhile but once I get a teaching check it starts burning a hole in my pocket.LOL.I try to avoid impulse buys anymore – they end up going back, sitting in my jewelry box and getting sold cheaply to just get rid of them.I bet you were popular with the kids with all those yummy cakes.I know the guys at work are sad my classes are over.Sounds like you are good at portion control. It does make the difference.Sorry to hear about all of your past injuries.Congratulations for the great compliments at work and exciting to be getting rid of big pants.

Hi all!

Danielle, it''s nice not to have to spend so much money on breakfast and lunch on the go. It adds up so keep up the food shopping for that stuff.

tlh, I''m still thinking about the pork tenderloin!
18.gif
I''ll try it this weekend hopefully. I like to change up my cardio often so I don''t get bored so I don''t really know I want to do until I walk in the gym. Stairclimber, elliptical, treadmill, bike... You name it, I''ll do it! Wow, it''s really hot where you are. Stay hydrated (as if you don''t already know that). And for your tests, I really hope everything goes well. YAY for your Mom and PT and for your brother and his lifestyle change!

somethingshiny, Thank you! Yeah, not everyone is into the gym, but then again, not everyone needs it. If yoga is giving you the results you''re looking for, why change a good thing? I keep saying that I want to try yoga, especially at home, but find myself just wanting to go to sleep. Oh... FitTV? I have to see if I have that channel. It''s so funny you mention belly dancing because they offer classes at the gym I go to. I was going to sign up with a friend, but she left me hanging to take pole dancing classes.
33.gif
Oh well, to each his own.

Hey marcyc! You can never have enough studs! I''m so glad you went with the $550 pair and I''m sure they look gorgeous! BTW, I
30.gif
muffins! I too recently purchased a smaller muffin pan to cut back on calories. Right now, I''m toggling between blueberry and chocolate chip. But I''m definitely willing to try some others. YAY for Marty coming home soon! I''m also excited for you.

Rod, you''re very welcome. You and your family are always in our thoughts and prayers.

Skippy, you''ve got the hot weather thing going on too? LOL! Sometimes I forget it''s summer. All we have is haze and humidity in NYC. Temps range in the 70''s and 80''s, but the air is stifling. Sorry lunch didn''t agree with you. I hope your tummy feels better.

deegee, YAY for your new clothes! It''s such a great feeling when you''re buying new clothes and smaller ones at that! And I''m glad you''re co-workers are complimenting you and saying encouraging words.

I went to the gym last night and had the best time. I did almost an hour of cardio (mostly running and uphill walking again), and upper body strength training. I probably would''ve done more, but Derek (the fiance), got bored and decided his workout was over in 30 minutes. He said that he doesn''t know what to do, but he doesn''t have time to put a to-do list together. What I really think is going on is that he misses his personal trainer. We both had trainers around the same time, but could no longer afford them so now I sense that he feels lost in the gym. I''m going to try and help him put something together for Thursday. After the gym, we went home and I made meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and steamed vegetables. Took me over an hour to make all that stuff, but it was sooooo worth it. And I made sure my portion wasn''t too large so I didn''t feel stuffed by the time I went to sleep. Today, I made a sandwich for lunch and oatmeal for breakfast so I managed to avoid buying any overpriced food in the city while at work today! YAY! Although, I might have to give in to some iced coffee. I have a half day at work today because I have a doctor''s appointment and after that, I''m going to stop by my Mom''s, pick up the camera for the dress fitting pics and some extra dumbbells and yoga DVD (extra YAY!) and go home.

Have a good day everybody!

Hi everyone! Just a really quick check in from me...

I made my first faux starbucks breakfast sandwich this morning. Last night, I made six egg white rings and popped them in the freezer (cook once, use many times!). I wasn''t 100% sure what to do about the bacon, so last night I fried up 2 slices of turkey bacon and put it in the fridge. So this morning, I started brewing the coffee, popped my english muffin into the toaster, grabbed an egg ring out of the freezer. I cooked my egg ring for 30 seconds in the microwave and it was defrosted. Then I took 1 slice of turkey bacon and 1/2 slice of cheese (only 1/2 cause I had some regular, full fat cheese leftover from a bbq) and put it on top of the egg ring and microwaved again for 30 seconds. Cheese was melty perfect and everything was hot, so I got my english muffin and assembled. I just ate my sandwich and it was good! Not EXACTLY the same as the Sbux one - I have to figure out a way to wrap up my sandwich to go and not get it all steamy. And mine is less calories/carbs/fat, but just as much protein :). I think in the future I will try to make the egg rings on sundays cause I didn''t have time to do my workout last night after making dinner, cleaning up, preparing this bfast food and cleaning up again! Yay for saving money!!

Skippy - we are going to San Francisco for vacation! I am soooooo excited. I went about 15 years ago with my parents when I was in middle school and I had a great time. I know my hubs will love it! We are going to do lots of sight seeing and have already booked our alcatraz tour tickets. And we''re working on scheduling a wine country tour!! And best of all, we have a friend who lives in San Fran that I''m excited to see and hang out with! We leave in 2 weeks!!

Marcy - can''t wait to see your studs!!! I am positive they will be beautiful :).

Ok, I have to run, but will check in later! Have a great day everyone.

shiny- omg, I''d love to celebrate national cheesecake day... but knowing my hubs, we''d have a cheesecake flavored jello pudding on a broken graham cracker... and he''d think it''d be the same thing. He really is adorable with his substitutions... but sometimes I just want a BITE of the real thing, not an entire bowl full of a substitute! haah! Thanks for your kind wishes, I hope to get some answers... and I''m thinking it is probably a thyroid condition- but I''m not a Dr. Your dinner by the way sounds great! I hope that your foot starts to heal up so you feel top notch again!

marcy- OMG soo true! (Though ashamed to admit it!
emembarrassed.gif
) Yes, do find out what song it was, it would be funny to hear what you think is a letdown after that list!
2.gif
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WF EARRINGS! Oo I cannot wait to slobber at them! Glamour it up!!! Thanks for all your snaps and claps for my fam! (And BTW I LOVE the innies of an apple pie!) And what better news than having marty home for a whole month! That is super fab news! And what a nice time of the year to have him back too!

Rod- I am glad you''re seeing some progress. That is fantastic. Also exciting you were able to have such a great gym workout! Here comes HERCULES!

skippy - your dinner, I''ve done that before. It always upsets me too, which is probably why 95% of all meals when I go out are a salad. (It bores the pants off the hubs.) But there is nothing worse than the runs! Sorry about your tummy ache and I''m hoping the banana made you feel better. And about the kind words... seriously honey, you''re the one doing all the hard work... I just get to sit back and admire ya!
9.gif

deegee- my mom was walking her dog, and some owner wasn''t paying attn to their dog, and it jumped at my mom, and she fell, dislocating her elbow. She is slowly recovering, but I really appreciate your concern for her. It certainly isn''t any fun. Sorry that you had to go through that too! Only a broken elbow AND wrist! YOU POOR THING! 53 pairs of pants, HOLY SMOKES! YOU GO GIRL! That is phenomenal! I dont like attn when I lose weight either. All it makes me think of is that I was heavy before. That and 5 pounds completely transforms the look of my face. It stinks. But in the same regard, it is nice to have people tell you what a hot momma you are! I think Lily enjoys her new hot momma! Walking in the rain. YOU ARE A ROCKSTAR. You get my rockstar do''n it in spite of the weather award!
emstar.gif
And I don''t know a dog out there that doesn''t love their wet dog smell. sorry you''ve got that lingering around... but I know lily enjoyed it!

Diva - the pork is gooood! I like your versatility in the gym. That will keep you motivated for sure! Sorry your fiance feels lost in the gym. He should try a push pull routine for 3 weeks, and then mix it up with something else. Also I think "crossfit" has a website with a lot of differnt workouts for the day... if he was looking for a quick to do list while there. Your dinner sounds yummy! Though I just wanted to make a note that steaming your veggies leaches out the nutrients, microwaving them, actually is the best way to prepare them. WEIRD? That is what I thought when I read that. I''m still on the edge of my seat for those dress pics! EEEK!!! SEXY BRIDE IS A COMING!!!!!!

Danielle - props for saving money on breakfast, and it sounds delicious. Egg whites have 5 grams of protein and only 17 calories. The yolk only adds 1 gram of protein, but a whopping 53 additonal calories PER EGG! I hope you have fun on your vacation. San Fran is an awesome and HILLY place. Love it!

Everyone make sure your weds is awesome - HAPPY HUMP DAY!

This morning, I won''t lie. SUCKED. I got out of bed and ran at 4:45 this morning. The heat advisory still in effect. It was almost 100* before dawn. I was so thirsty all I could thin about 30 mins out was why the HECK did I think I didn''t need water this morning. My shirt... man I was NASTY. I''m not going to sugar coat it. I looked like a wet rat that had been hit with a broom 6 or 7 times. It should have been a HUGE clue that only the cyclists were out this morning. All the runners... gone. It was intersesting and lonely. When I got home, I took the world''s coldest shower. I usually take a cold shower, but it is a quick rinse off. This morning, I just stood there and quite literally chilled out. If I had the time, I''d have taken an ice bath... but I didn''t. So I settled for an extra long cold shower. I even debated whether or not to walk to and from work today. But I figured I have to drive tomorrow, so I''m not going to cheat myself the pleasant walk... even though the walk home will be at 116*... the walk to work was a nice way to let my hair quickly dry! HA! I mean, no need for a blow dryer when it is 100* outside! Well tomorrow I get all my tests run. So I have to stop eating before 7pm.

Danielle, YAY for breakfast! As I was reading your post, I started getting hungry because it sounded so good.

tlh, I had no idea about the steaming vegetables thing! I''m going to definitely prepare them differently last time. Thanks!

I normally don''t post twice a day, but I got the camera from my Mom this afternoon. I upload the dress fitting pics in BWW. Link

Enjoy and have a great night everyone!

My hubby got to come home 2 days early. Woo-hoo!!!!!!!! I was driving down my street towards my house after work thinking that I was going to be taking Lily for a walk in the rain again, and that I didn''t have anything to make for dinner, and that it was only Wednesday and I was expecting him late Friday night at the earliest. I turned the bend in the road an saw strange car in my driveway, which I eventually realized was the brand new company car hubby brought home this past Friday, and I got so excited! I had to make a real effort not to floor it the rest of the way home. We have been married for 15 years, together for almost 16, and I still get butterflies in my stomach when I think about him. Mushy, right? I can''t help it!

We have a break in the rain, so we''re taking the pooch for a walk while we can without getting soaked. For those of you in the hot zones, it''s in the 60''s here. I had to dig out a long sleeved shirt and pants to walk in. Everybody have a great day tomorrow!

Hey.......it was a mixed bag on pain today. It was bad, then it wasn''t bad, then bad, then not. I''m not sure what on earth makes is hurt at times then relax, but it''s wearing thin with me and I just lose patience and want to wake up without pain. My PT says it will happen like at some point, but it will take time and then he tells me I need to be patient. If patience is virtue, why did God create desire?????? Huh.......tell me???? Charlie surprised me by buying a couple pounds of jumbo shrimp for me to steam when I got home from work. Dinner, was a special treat for sure. He''s leaving in the morning to visit his family in Buffalo, so I''ve the next 4 days to myself. I''m kind of looking for a few days to do exactly what I want, when I want. We did get news about my brother today. The biopsy and blood work came back clean and he doesn''t have any cancer in his kidney! We''re all so relieved. We''re still waiting for some guidance on my mother. Thanks for the prayers for my family.

Skippy, 98 is hot. Hotter than it get''s even in Tampa. And I''m sorry that fatty lunch didn''t sit well with you. It''s funny how after we''ve completely changed our eating habits, fatty foods really don''t agree. Maybe that''s a good thing. It reminds us that it''s not good for us.

How cool that your coworkers stopped by to comment on your new smaller self degree!!! I know we do these things for ourselves, but it''s still nice when others notice our progress. You go degree!!

Thanks Marcy. I''m so happy that you did get exactly what you want and I''m looking forward to seeing the new sparklies when you get them!! Sometimes the stretches help. Sometimes they don''t. I guess this is just going to take a long to go away. It didn''t come on over night and it''s certainly not leaving any faster than it happened.

Yay for having a great time at the gym diva!! How I miss cardio. If I ever completely get over this blasted sciatica, I''m going to get on the elliptical and never got off. Maybe you could suggest to Derek that he creates a program in advance, and writes down what he wants to do at the gym. The pounds, the reps, etc., and he keeps a log of what he did and he can progress from there. When we first joined the gym nearly 4 years ago, we did that until we could decide on a trainer, who really just taught us to mix things up. Anyway, maybe putting a plan in writing will help him stay motivated. Just a thought.

Yummmm to your homemade faux-Sbucks egg-which Danielle. We used to make egg and cheese sandwiches at home, but we haven''t done that in a long long time. Now, I''m hungry for an egg sandwich..........I''m jealous of your trip to San Francisco!!

Thanks for the Hercules comment tlh. Hardly, but I do feel good that even with pain, I''m still doing my best to keep my gym routine going. If only I could add back in cardio, but that too will come in time. I''m sorry the morning sucked. That''s some major heat so early in the morning. Make sure you''re really hydrated before tackling a run in that kind of heat, OK?

Hey Diva.

OK....I have a full hour of nasty stretches to do before going to bed, so I''m signing out. Have a good Thursday everyone........

Hi everyone.I hope you had a wonderful and healthy day.

Diva, I need to check on FitTV myself.Great idea.I so agree; you can’t have enough studs.Heck you can’t have enough earrings.I need to pick up a mini muffins pan; that is a sure way to cut calories.I like chocolate chip, blueberry and apple muffins.I switch around too.Your supper sounds great and I bet you have some leftovers from it too. I can’t wait to see you fitting pictures.Your dress is gorgeous and you look beautiful in it.

Danielle, I am glad your breakfast tasted good.Yay for making them healthier and saving money.I call mine Marcy McMuffins.Your trip to San Francisco sounds like a lot of fun.I am pretty anxious to see my studs too.

Tlh, I’m with you; I’d rather have a few bites of the real thing than a dish of substitutions. The song Marty ended up using was “Mysterious Ways”.He said he had a few more choices but the ringtones didn’t sound very good.Apple pie innies are awesome.Marty just called from the airport and he’ll be here in about 2 hours.Yippee.Sounds like your run this morning was brutal.Sorry you forgot to take your water.Good luck at the doctor tomorrow.

Deegee, how lucky we are our hubbies got home tonight. We’ve been married for over 18 years now but I am still a sucker for Marty too.Yay for still getting butterflies in your stomach; that is awesome.

Rod, I hope you start to have days with a lot less pain than you have now, I wish it happen faster for you.I hope you enjoy some quiet time over the next few days. What a relief to hear your brother doesn’t have cancer.

Take care and sweet dreams.
