My FI selected the stone and designed the setting himself as a modified Tiffany''s setting, but set higher and with 4 prongs instead of 6.
The wedding band is from Cartier, the specs are .66 total carats, and as good or better than the e-ring stone.

Oh you are not alone. I love, love, love solitaires. I find that certain rings with paves & halos can sometimes resemble fashion jewelry too much but a solitaire always looks "real" & just screams "engagement"

I think this is a great thread idea... not all of us have eternity bands, so we couldnt post in the thread that was mentioned above!
