Above is the stone I have reserved. It's a super ideal AGS000 from a reputable vendor.

That said, the lab report just became viewable and it says, "The clarity grade of this diamond is based on clouds that are not shown."

I'm having the vendor re-analyze the stone. In the meantime, clarity is a HUGE factor to me. I need it to be "mind-clean"! What are the questions I should ask the vendor, and how much would you be worried about this?

THANKS!

Usually we worry about that comment more with SI or worse grades.

Even though it has a very respectable clarity grade of AGS VS2 since the Modern Round Brilliant is the most plentiful shape, I'd find a different diamond.
Let someone else buy it.

If it was some hard-to-find shape or cut I'd pay an independent professional appraiser who does not sell diamonds to examine it since there is a good chance the diamond is 'okay'.
But, rounds abound so I'd move on.

Have gemologist pull it and tell you if the clouds are impacting performance. If so, stay away. If not, then I think it's fine.
