Thanks to GOG and WF - My new WProng Solitaire!

Hi All

I received my new solitaire a few weeks ago and wanted to share. It''s my 20th Anniversary present which I greatfully received one year early!!

The diamond is a beautiful 1.52 K SI1 from Good Old Gold, and the setting is Whiteflash''s WProng in 18K yellow gold and platinum head. Both companies were a great to work with and I wouldn''t hesitate to recommend either of them!!

I was in the midst of deciding on a setting at the same time as Isabelle and her input helped tremendously - thanks Isabelle! I prefer slightly thicker settings for my size 7 finger and the WProng is a great choice for me. I have it paired with a 3mm domed wedding band (not comfort fit) from e-weddingbands.com and I think they are a perfect match in terms of shank shape, height, etc.

Remember, I''ve been wearing both rings for a few weeks so there are some scratches on the shanks - I''m already on the way to achieving that lovely gold patina - and the diamond got a bit dirty during the photo shoot...

Skippy! Long time no talk (for me) over in the Healthier Lifestyle Thread... I still follow along though. Hoot, hoot. Yes, I do have a diamond from my husband''s family. I''ve reset that a number of times in some ornate settings. This time, I just went back to the classic solitaire and plain band. Infinitely wearable - especially for someone who is less than careful when she has it on...
