I''ve been pretty quiet on these forums, but I wanted to share the great news that my fabulous boyfriend/fiancé proposed a few weeks ago while we were on vacation in London (and I accepted .

There are a few old threads with the details of putting the ring together (setting 2), but here''s a summary: 1.29 asscher, E color, VVS1, G/G, platinum Saturn Jewels setting w/~.45cw, ring size 7 1/4.

wow what a stunning, unusual ring!! i love it! so unique, in the first few pictures it looks like the diamond is just kind of sitting on your hand! that asscher looks HUGE too, way bigger than i'd expect a 1.29 to look like, what is your secret? oh duh i think it's the milgrain halo. YUM.
