Oh my!!! The color of that blue zircon is TDF~~~and I absolutely LOVE the flower shaped halo and subtle milgrain. Your parents sure got good taste!!

Heididdl - your mother's EC ring is TDF!!! Can we have some hand shots? It's a stunning ring. I'd love an enormous step cut like that. I just love the clean lines. It reminds me of the Art Deco era.

A tie between 3, these all equally mean so much to me.


This was my grandmothers, that my grandfather had made for her, then it was my mothers, and now it is mine.


REALLY bad picture of my engagement ring, but it was an heirloom piece from my MIL

and my little tornado
I had Hisano take a very beloved akoya strand of mine that belonged to my grandmother, and had her create this piece to wear at my wedding.

Although I have never been truly happy with the setting, my EC that was my 40th birthday present to myself is my go-to piece whenever I need a pick me up. It is my pride and joy, and it reminds me of another significant/life-changing event in my life.

It was originally made to be worn on its own on my right hand middle finger, however, it just about fit on a very cold day nowadays as the finger has increased by one whole US size since the ring was made in 2004. It does not provide the amount of finger coverage I would like, and it sits too high on the finger for my liking. I should have had more input on the design on the ring at the time, however, I was quite green and trusting, and left it to the bench that made the ring, after stipulating the diamond must be bezel-set.



This is how I normally wear it at the mo, with a 2mm Titanium band on my RH ring finger. I used to wear this combination on the middle finger until the finger grew too large for both rings.



A new semi-mount has been commissioned, with a simple halo and air line gap, as low profile as possible, 5mm plain shank reducing to 3mm at the bottom. I should have the EC reset in time for my birthday celebrations in Feb 2015.

My bezel tennis bracelet. After 2 years of wearing it everyday, I still love it. I stack with other bracelets. These are 2 silver bangles and a Peruvian Opal bracelet my sister made me.

This is a fun thread! I'm loving all of the eye candy! Here are my two favorites, besides my e-ring. The irony is that I rarely get a chance to wear these because they are so blingy! My first is the diamond cross and the second is the tanzanite halo ring.

Great idea for a thread!

Among other things, I'm having a love affair with vintage station necklaces right now. Along with diamond studs and a watch, a station necklace is my go-to for everyday. I love mixing and matching two in particular, one has moonstones, and the other rose cuts.
