I just had the best weekend of my life!!!!

First, I would like to thank everyone on PS! This message board has been invaluable in so many ways. I feel so lucky to have found it. With that said, in the middle of last week my BF sent this suspicious message:

"be ready to for a getaway on Friday afternoon, bring evening dress, and assorted clothes" - which is so exciting because i didn''t if he actually went through with getting the ring....

I had to know more, especially like what did he consider an evening dress, but this was all i could squeeze out of the tight lipped man of mine:
"a dress that you like to wear and think is pretty

other clothes: casual (jeans) warm tops, etc. just a few things. and some shoes you could walk around in, potentially on a trail..." (we like hiking)
we wound up staying the weekend at http://www.laubergeprovencale.com/ which is an amazing place, pure pampering.
my man rented the "romantic" suite and filled it up with flowers and champagne and my very favorite chocolate covered strawberries

there was this fabulous oldfashioned bathtub -- beautiful and the most delicious food i have ever eaten!!!!!

the proposal was so sweet and i was crying and laughing and hugging and kissing. the ring is stunning. really. the pictures do it no justice (and now i finally understand why everyone says that) plus i am apparently a pretty crumby photographer. here are the first shaky shots.

Is this the diamond you posted about a while back? The one that is kind of like a baguette?
