3.01 H VS1 Emerald Cut with Baguettes by Leon Mege

By request, I'm sharing photos of my Emerald Cut ring in Leon Mege's classic three-stone setting (r1691) with double-claw prongs and baguettes. The ring was made in 2013 and the stones were sourced by LM's Diamond Ambassador service. Leon, Perry and Rachel provided wonderful service and made the process smooth and efficient. I have always like my stones set very low to the finger (I'm klutzy and it really helps me to prevent banging the rings around too much) and Leon's settings always have such great fluidity and proportions

The center stone is a GIA 3.01 H VS1 Emerald cut and the baguettes are 0.75 tcw I VS

Fluorescence: N
Table: 64% (Big, I know!)
Depth: 67.5%
Girdle: Slightly thick - thick
LxW ratio: 1:1.38

By the numbers, it's not the best. I was worried about the size of the table, but Perry, Leon's Diamond Ambassador, assured me it would look great. He was right: in real life, it is lively with broad flashes of light and fire. I am color-sensitive in that I can quite easily see the warmth in stones, but it doesn't bother me (for those of you who know my 3 ct antique cushion ring, it was an M color). In most lighting conditions, the H is very white , with a little warmth visible from the side.

I find my EC to be really difficult to photograph! I hope these turn out ok...
