Got my first Hermes bag this weekend

She''s a 32mm Retourne Kelly, color ''Biscuit'' (a light gold/beige), gold hardware. Leather: swift Adopted from the Hermes store at the King of Prussia Mall.
I missed getting a Birkin by about 5 minutes. There was one in the window, but the store wasn''t open yet. I decided to visit some jewelry stores rather than sit and wait for Hermes to open. When I finally got back to Hermes about 15 minutes after it had opened, someone had already bought the Birkin. But this beautiful Kelly was there, and she said "Take me home".

I am amazed they had a birkin in the window. they have lists going back a long time. I am still waiting for a gold birkin with palladian hardware.

The Birkin they had in the window was fairly small, possible 30 or 32 mm, and it was a light color. Maybe someone had ordered it and then decided not to buy it.

Here in Tky, there are lots of reselling stores selling Hermes goods but Birkins are hard to get from the actual store. I had to call the store everyday for a good 6 months before I got my hands on one.
