Alot of companies make wonderful claims. Some back it up with proof. Some companies are transparent and let you know specifically what their claims are based upon. In many cases hyperbolic claims are mere marketing spin. In others, the claims may have some merit, but the brands are well enough established that they do not feel the need to prove anything.

As the saying goes, the devil is in the details- and when it comes to diamonds each one is unique and carries its own burden of proof.
