Remaking a ring into two eternity bands-diamond question

Hi,

I have posted many times on the show me the ring. I have a question if anyone can answer it.
I inherited a 84 diamond eternity pave band (the diamonds are 1-2 pointer), 6mm wide weight in at 2.5 ctw. The diamonds are F/G VS1 clarity.
I find the ring to bulky for my 5.5 fingers. I want to remake it into two either pave 1.5-2 mm eternity rings or shared prong eternty rings? Is this possible with diamond this small.

Let me know what you think and if I am posting this in the right forum . I will ask in the show me the ring forum for people who have eternity bands that are 1 to 2 pointers 1.5-2 mm wide.

I''m not a jeweler but I don''t not think reusing the stones to make a different ring would be a problem. shared prong or pave rings can be made with stones the size of yours.
